Just a start up channel for me to follow my passion of gardening and try advise and get advice given to me so I can progress my knowledge. I like to grow from seeds and cuttings and try different methods, just love being in the garden. Most of my plants are not hardy however I do have a varied range of hardy plants which I maintain and take cuttings of over the winter if necessary and produce new from my cuttings or seeds . My aim this year is to start on fruit and vegetables I have only dabbled with previously.

This video was made with Clipchamp Huge apologies for the lack of sound in places . I have done my best to make it watchable! The pine needles help to make the soil more acidic which is what blueberry's like. I have 3 different varieties of blueberry but they do need a little work to keep them happy. Practice makes perfect so they say so i will strive to do better with the filming Happy gardeni...

Sadly due to being attacked by another parrot around ten years ago he is frightened of birds so cannot have a playmate. We arn't sure exactly what sex so i call him a He! He spends a lot of time out of his cage but doesn't like male humans and will bite some females too. He was totally plucked like a chicken when i rescued him , they do this from stress , boredom and not liking their environmen...

Will the babies survive the winter? I grew somewhere from seeds in the fall and they are NICE and healthy...nice height.. do I dig them up for winter and bring inside or do I leave them outside covered? It snows in my part of the US..zone 6a
We get below 0celsius here and all mine survive the winter they drop any leaves and regrow in spring . That said it’s better if you collect the seeds and plants the seeds in spring here. I do great with hibiscus seeds
