the board did great the other people need to find new hobbies
The video is being g blocked!wtf
1k+ views is remarkable.
is the sound still not working?
the audio is completely messed up but the Town Board did give notice to everyone in attendance that it was
Wait did my town supervisor just say that the business owners who are benefitting from the grants are the ones choosing the meeting time. Also you have to have fakebook and computer email to get an announcement. Skewing the numbers!!!
no sound?
I am not against a PILOT Program we need to keep in mind how and who this will truly benefit, but that being said yes these apartment project will or can shift the tax responsibility to the rest of the of the residents in the Town of Cicero.
FWIW in my comments I meant New Hempstead in the COUNTY of Rockland NY. New Hempstead is a Village and it was their comprehensive plan that was voided in court.
Can you make houses more affordable please? I’m looking for a 2,000 SF new construction mid-century rustic farmhouse modern 1-story ranch style home for under 250k. Thanks!
Good job, Cicero! Good job to the homeowner too. This is a great example of good sensible government in action. 👍

Needs to be a more economical plan to replace Police vehicles then7 @ once for 465,500.00. The average auto on the road is 12.5 years old we just don't have the same options available to the taxpayer except to keep driving.
Tom, I’m not sure if you are aware, but common practice in departments is to replace vehicles every 3 years and Cicero has been doing it every 4 years. That may seem crazy but please keep in mind these vehicles are driven pretty much 24/7 and most have upwards of 200k miles by the time they are replaced. I’d be willing to bet you replace your vehicles long before that and you aren’t out patrolling. I would challenge you to drive your vehicle for 200k miles then come give the town your sage advice on the topic. And yes, replacing the fleet all at once of this size saves the town around 5% in total cost compared to rotating cars every two years.
@@AthenaFrantz , interesting having attended 100 + Board meetings under 9 supervisors this is a first regarding a purchase of this # of vehicles at one time, I stand by my comments it's always easy to spend others peoples money and sadly only two taxpayers, myself and colleague Don Snyder, have the courage to take this one on.

Time to update town codes to specifically include 8 ft candles requirements... or it's not enforceable.
Good job residents!
Audio was over modulated, made it difficult to hear
there's only a minute of this meeting on youtube... is the rest getting uploaded some time soon?
wanted to watch from home but the bd meeting kept canceling out
Can't hear you. Frozen
Put it to the residents for a vote. I do not know of anyone that wants this.
31 is already a disaster. What's going to happen to that?
This is totally ridiculous- We do not want this !
We do not want this massive project. I live on Lakeshore, moved here 8yrs ago to get away from city traffic. I have seen it increase yearly here. With massive speeding and barely a patrol. And this will triple Lakeshore traffic. And people cutting through our neighborhoods is already bad. I say NO!
Lakeshore and it’s neighborhoods are literally patrolled all the time. Try looking outside once in a while
@@DIYAmateurHour no they're not patrolled "all the time", which is a nebulous expression anyway. Also, "it's" means "it is", and it's not possessive. Look in a 3rd grade English book once in a while. Read and do your best to retain something.
One of my. biggest concerns: Lakeshore Road - bumper to bumper -and a house fire, boat rescue, or accident requires immediate response time. There is no way to get emergency. vehicles or. the volunteer fire fighters to get through. to their firehouses or through the crowds. Additionally, Lakeshore empties into Rt 31 - and the entrance to Rt 81 lanes, as well as the 4 corners, are already. stretched to the limit. When you. stack up this huge project, along with the new development at Lakeshore/Mudmill, how can anyone suggest that it will not be a traffic problem? Just even getting to work while school is in session is currently an issue with commuting to work. I don't see how their. HOA is going to solve all the problems for safety. Maybe for their "community" residents, but not for the whole adjacent community residents. People who have lived here for years, such as the William/Tassone family who have given so much to this community will have their beautiful properties totally. impacted. Of course, I can't speak for them, but it would seem that people who have lived here, paid taxes for years, and have enjoyed peace and quiet and beautiful views should not have. to "have a conversation" with. these developers to have to MOVE to suit their purposes. I am assuming that would be the "conversation". I have great faith in this. town board, as they. are intelligent and community. minded. I hope that they. will keep in mind about the quality of life, the safety of students, residents, and our police and firefighters as they consider this development. I also would. like to see more COMMUNITY communication and an OPEN plan that will let residents in on some of the planning for REAL, not just be a rubber stamp. That's great that these developers have so many. important "friends" , but I hope these "friends" will also. consider the amount of disruption for our community, and not just see dollar signs and a capstone project. I would also like to know: will this project CUT. DOWN on our already. high lakefront and school taxes or INCREASE them? And I would like it to be a concrete explanation about the taxes, not a smoke and mirrors explanation that says it is good for our bottom line. It is hard to see, right now, how the benefits would outweigh. the drastic change for the long term residents of this area. Please be up front and provide information ongoing about this project, so that we don't have to guess what is going on behind closed doors.
The public comments have been limited to 3 minutes and the Board will not engage your questions at the meeting, so much for "Full Public participation" Stay home and watch the show from the comfort of your home. That's a shame to revert back to this .
could not pick up any audio on this meeting
Forgive a drug pusher today for destroying a loved one and he will gladly destroy your entire family tomorrow
Seriously, if you're going to broadcast these meetings, fix the audio so we can actually understand what the board members are saying. Audio is REAL bad.
It would be better if the audio allowed us to actually hear the members of the board.
The sawhorse is an amazing invention
Audio is terrible. Speakers ,both the crowd and board fade in and out
