hi! yes our contractors helped us to install it! hmm, i'm not too sure on the exact cost as we shipped everything over at the same time, but you should see the sea vs air shipping cost when trying to check out! we just used the cainiao shipping cos we were lazy, but you could also try ezship etc.!

It was from Carousell! Haha. Unfortunately, I don't think the table is marked with a particular brand

Hi thanks - your sauna looks awesome! so cool to have it in a hdb. I am thinking seriously of installing one when we get our 5 room BTO keys next year... Had some questions 1. which room is it placed - the kitchen area? 2. what are the electricity costs like? based on your usage... can expect it to be an energy guzzler? 3. any other maintainence requirements / considerations? 4. how about safety? i emailed darren too but will be curious to hear your experience... thanks a lot!
hello! thanks for your questions and congrats on your new house!! :) 1. cos it's just the 2 of us, we converted our master bedroom into a "wellness" room so it's right next to our master bathroom. in my opinion, best to minimise the distance between the sauna and bathrooms if you want to rinse off in between! you can watch my full home tour for a better idea of the wellness room :) 2. my understanding is that it's about the same energy consumption as our 35l water storage heater. it's similar to using the water heater for about 30 mins each time? compared to other 5 rooms on the singapore powers app, our power consumption is below average. but that may also be bcos it's just the 2 of us in the house haha. 3. none really, cos it's an infrared sauna, not a steam sauna! we sit on towels so we don't have to wipe down as much sweat. besides that it's just washing the towels and airing out the sauna after use (need to open the vent and turn on the silver ioniser) 4. the supplier provides the same model to big businesses around the world so it is safe! darren has also brought it in for his friends and colleagues for a couple of years and no issues so far. if you are concerned, can turn off the switch if it's not in use, i suppose. and get a reputable electrician to run the wiring for the sauna. hope that answers your question! i've let darren know about your email too! cheers and feel free to ask me if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the encouragement Lynn! That's super great to hear :) In total, I think our reno took about 2 months! Though there were some delays cos my husband got dengue haha. Carpentry, specifically, took about 2-3 weeks? We only moved in after most of the reno was done! Staying in the same house during reno can be quite noisy and dusty. Depending on the extent and stage of your reno, you might have to move some things ard + constantly clean the house. If you can move your stuff in after the reno, that would be the best. Hope that helps!

sis. I want to ask, can shopping on the Taobao app be sent directly to the Singapore address, or must it be sent to the China warehouse first, then can it be sent to the Singapore address? please help me, i want to shop but i don't know how to do it..
Hi! I think the items are usually sent to a warehouse first for consolidation! If you only have 1 item you want to purchase, you have to wait until the item reaches the warehouse to approve delivery to Singapore. Hope this helps :)

Hey Jellydin, when you opt for taobao shipping, is it a door-to-door delivery? Or do they leave it at your block's carpark/ void deck?
I opted for door to door delivery via Cai Niao (Taobao's default logistics provider). However, my friends from China (living in Singapore) said that ezbuy is much cheaper, so you might want to look into them :)

That’s awesome!! We love our seated shower area too. It’s pretty relaxing to sit down after cleaning the house 😂😂 You’re most welcome! Our shower tap is from KVK! We couldn’t seem to import TOTO from taobao. Might have been some import/export restrictions. I think KVK is also from Japan. Hope this helps :)

Hi, it’s not bad! Working well! The sink trap sometimes gets knocked out of place but other than that I really like how the knife holder is integrated and connects to the pipe directly :)

How do u install all the taobao furniture?
Our contractor helped us with most of it! Some came pre-assembled. If I’m not wrong, some shops give you the option to assemble it yourself or ship it pre-assembled too

Glad you liked it! :) We bought it when it was about 15 years old. Reno alone was 40k but that didn’t include appliances, painting, furnishing etc.!

Our dish rack is fixed! Not sure about solutions where they can be lowered but there might be something for that in taobao? 😅

How does it cost? including installation
Darren is selling it for 6k including delivery! You can assemble it yourself (apparently quite easy) or ask your contractors for help! If you really want help with the installation, they can do it for $500 more!
