She came out in Phantom Nightmare too, and I was wondering how we can use her effects to strengthen Aroma combo. You’ve opened my eyes and I might go back to trying her out again. It´s a pleasure seeing dedicated Arome lovers put their ideas out there :) True, it´d be soo much more convenient to simply be able to buy the UR we want instead. Right?? I can already picture Jasmine´s animation, not only in Aroma, but every Plant deck running her. Your ideas were certainly unique, I never saw any other channel propose ´em! True, they arrived in the same set, and I thought about ways to use her ever since, especially under a Plant-lock. Glad to be of help to you, too. On the topic of new ideas for the deck, I realised that Cyclos and Fairyant can easily make Circle of Fairies, but Cyclos can come straight back if a Syncro Monster is Special Summoned while he is the GY - resulting in a an easy level 11 Psychic End Punisher who gains ATK equal to the difference in LP for an even easier OTK potential, haha. Since Sylvan doesn't lock you to Plants, you get to choose to expand your plays, especially in the Extra Deck! Having a quick-effect negate is very helpful in Yugioh these days, and unfortunately, we don't have Plant monsters that can be squeezed in Sylvan to offer that. But, if you want to stick to ONLY Plant monsters, you can throw in Sacred Tree Beast Hyperyton (Xyz rank 9), but make sure you include Mardel Generaider for the level 9. Hyperyton is nice for a quick-effect negate, but not as open as Borreload and Therion's omni-negate. Hope that helps!

Yes, I have! I love Rose Lover, but decided to opt her out over Rose Girl and/or Carrotweight Champion. Spore is also a great pick. However, I wouldn’t question if you choose Rose Lover, it just all depends on what you’re aiming for. I found Aromage Jasmine’s double summon from the hand sufficient, so I didn’t put Rose Lover. I’m curious how your deck will end up looking with rose lover though!

@@myxco8175 oh! If that’s the case, I’d imagine the new Aroma support getting released into MD around July of this year, give or take. Definitely some time this summer I hope! The pace of MD is slow, usually taking 8-12 months from the time the cards were released in real life.

Would you consider making a video related to that knowledge? maybe an overview of all the archetypes and what cards pair well with other archetypes and any other cards that pair well too. I know a comprehensive list would be *way* too much effort but maybe just talk about the specific cards you've used before / like? idk, it feels weird and kinda selfish to make video request but at the same time you seem to know a lot about plant cards and I want to learn about plant cards

Yes, so happy to meet another aroma enjoyer too! I agree that Sunavalon and Therion packages boost the plant engine for Aroma. I aimed to keep it mostly Aroma here, however, though I have nothing against those packages. I actually will be uploading another video showing pure plant deck that mixes all kinds of plant archetypes, so I hope you check it out and share your thoughts on that plant engine!

I was honestly unsure what Cananga was so thanks for clarifying that with me haha! I can imagine Laurel being a link-1 one day, but maybe that’ll be too overpowering for plant decks. I am 99.9% sure Bergamot will be a level 7 Synchro one day! Lavender will be such a great addition, I love your idea with that. So glad to see another aroma lover, I’m happy to see more!

​@@AromaSun No prob haha! XD Took me awhile to realize Cananga was a boy too XD I've been seeing a LOT of people wanting a Link 1 Laurel, and can totally see how that could be a bit too much! XD and now with the Aromalyliths being a thing, we just now have to see if it'll be a light "seraphy" or a dark "lylith" XD I've been wanting a lavendar aromage ever since Jasmine got her link upgrade, and if it does happen, it just makes total sense to make it a fusion material that can work with Jasmine. :D Oooh, what would you say to potential Xyz and Pendulum Aroma monsters? We've already got Fusion, Synchro, and Link, might as well add the other two Extra Deck methods XDXD But, seriously, I'd be interested if they can find a way to make it work with the rest of the archetype and not make it too much of a jumble.

@@davelewandoski4292 yes I agree with the lavender, I really hope it gets decided into the mixture of aroma theme. ♡ I can see Xyz coming into play, mainly a rank 1 since all the other levels are individually for each monster, except the tuners being level 1, so it’ll be a bit of a process to get two level 4’s and so forth as we try to summon two level 4 Rosemary’s etc, unless we mix the archetype haha (like carrotweight champion and rosemary both being level 4). I don’t think the pendulum would work very well, being that we are exhausting all of our backrow with our continuous spells and traps, you know? It’s possible since we see it with the Amazoness archetype, but we’d have to start making sacrifices especially if the pendulum monsters are useful. Overall, I am all for the new support, be it as it may! But what are your thoughts with xyz and pendulum?

@@AromaSun I think Xyz could work well if more new aromages with levels matching the existing ones were to be introduced, as per the need for multiple monsters to use Xyz. Maybe an effect for one could be "if your lp is higher, detatch one xyz material to negate and destroy one spell/trap for as many aroma cards you control" 🤣 Right now as far as main deck monsters we only have Aroma Jar, Angelica, Rosaline, and Laurel for level 1, all the others are different levels, so if there were an Xyz introduced soon, we could do a rank 1 using any of those four. But there's where using copies of monsters and i guess even the non-link extra deck ones comes in until more possible monsters are released. The aromas are based on essential oils, and there's dozen out there to choose from, so it's only a matter of time. As for pendulum, I'm not exactly sure how it would work. I just keep thinking back to the zefra archetype and how there was archtype specific pendulum monsters. But it's all wishful thinking for now 🤣 I'm not sure how you feel about the current format, but I'm not too much of a fan of how they moved the pendulum zones from they're own spot to taking spell/trap zones after Links came along. I wish we could have a kinda hybrid format to keep the link monster zones but also give pendelum zones their own space again 🤣

@@davelewandoski4292 ooouu that is a great idea! 😂 I love the idea of having a quick effect negate somewhere in future Aroma supports since all we have the Synchro Rosemary, but it’s not a quick effect, only a trigger. I would support a Rank 1 Xyz for any of the level 1’s. A Quick Effect of anything will be nice, outside the life gain trigger effects. I appreciate Konami allowing an option to activate Magnolia and Link-3 Rosemary as a new idea with the life gain, gives me more control! I see, hmmm idk how I feel about it either, as I don’t use a lot of Pendulum-based decks these days, but I can see why they attempted to balance the fairness. I hope the more pendulum monsters we get, the sooner they’ll switch back to it, since it does give them a disadvantage of having much fewer spells/traps space. It especially hurts if Kashtira blocks their pendulum zones, like come on!

You are most welcome! Oh, you very much opened my eyes to new combos and the best part about it is that you kept the deck pure Aroma instead of mixing it with Sonavalon/Rikka like so many others do. Its always a joy to talk to other like-minded people and share ideas with each other, haha. I will definitely stick around for that and share my thoughts on that one with you as well! I always thought that Solemn Judgment was too steep a cost for this deck since it would require paying so many Life Points and potentially put the Aroma player behind on Life Points, but maybe Solemn Strike would be good addition instead due to the relatively low cost of 1.500 Life Points for the negation of a Special Summon of a key card? @@AromaSun

@@benogokan yes that’s true, solemn strike sounds more ideal, and Pollinosis will probably be amazing since we will be able to swarm the field with more plants now, and thus have resource for the tribute cost in Pollinosis, especially if blessed winds is on the field as we will easily special summon the Aroma monster we used as tribute. Thanks for bringing that up!

Exactly! Its my pleasure, really! I´m always happy to bounce ideas with a fellow Aroma enthusiast, lol. If you want to take it even further, we could always tribute Aromalylith Rosemary or Aromalylith Rosalina to trigger their effects after letting them bloom once again during the next turn with Blessed Winds. Potentially even use that method to get Angelica in the graveyard after we Special Summon her from our hand with Aromalylith Rosemary´s effect. Afterward, its as simple as bringing Angelica back through her own effect and maybe use her to banish one of the opponent´s card by using her as cost for Aromalylith Rosemary´s 3rd effect while gaining 1.000 LP, right? @@AromaSun

@@benogokan yesss I love these ideas! It’s really neat how Link-3 Rosemary allows Angelica to bounce between hand field and GY, then back on the field with Angelica’s own effect! She would be super broken if she didn’t get banished. It would be so nice to have a rank 1 Xyz Aroma so we can use Angelica as material, then recycle her more since she won’t get banished if she gets detached 😋! Kind of how Rikka is playing around with Erica.

Yes, I was surprised seeing Magnolia, she's new. Since Magnolia got the effect I thought Bergamot would have, I am imagining bergamot's effect protecting our spells/traps or perhaps banish protection? I can't wait for future support release!!
