Yes, i think they work great on flat roads. most of my runs has been on gravel roads and running and asphalt for longer periods 😊

​@@theswerunner Probably 80% of runners are not hardcore. They are slow pace joggers not marathon runners. Hardcore runners should probably have different shoes for different purposes. I think Saucony is trying to target a more specific audience. It's funny how ppl want the endorphin to be a fast shoe but the triumph to be a " do it all" shoe. A lot of bad reviews on this shoe because ppl don't want it to be just a recovery shoe. I haven't tried it but I'm sure it does great at slow pace long runs and I personally think it's the best looking triumph ever made. Looking forward to your next review

Yes, i feelt fine. But it got too much see people fall down on the road 😫 there are other races 😊 I will try to have some fun this summer, glancing at some trail stuff and some shorter 5 km - 10 km race to work on my speed 🏃‍♂️

I don’t know if i would take them to a personal best race. But if i’m just going for a shoe to a race and you like Saucony, then i would look for endorphin PRO 3 on a discount if you can find one. The kinvara is good on my slower long runs 😅

@@theswerunner Hello, thank you very much for responding, unfortunately there are no longer Pro 3 with a discount and the ones that are available are sizes 14-15 🙃🥲 It's not for doing PR either, I'm going to run a marathon for the first time now in September, probably if I look for PR in short distances like half marathon and 15K, I was thinking of looking for a Ride 16 for my first marathon

It’s still has the most foam in the back, still a 10 mm drop 🧐 i’m littlebit more of an heel striker myself. But did not feel any ground contact in my runs. I just did my First run in the Asics Superblast. It had more natural feeling and more run 😅 have you tried that?

​@@theswerunner That seems to be the consensus Mike. Thanks for the review. Seems like it would still be a good shoe for recovery runs. The days of the versatile training shoe might be gone and each shoe will serve a specific purpose. Which I'm fine with because I love rotating shoes 😂

But coming from Triumph 20 & 21 it feels like another shoe. I will be great in my rotation now on my easy days peak week and taper weeks to protect my legs and probably the first runs after the marathon 😅
