Hacking A Tesla Adapter Part 2, How To Fix Tesla Charger error (Charging equipment reports error)

3 years ago, I extended the 240 volt attachment but bending the cable has eventually broke the solder of the chip inside. I had to open it and re solder the chip. Bending so many times did break the solder joint. The Oscilloscope sho...

      if possible, cover a screw with tape and place it in the hole and fill with epoxy then remove the screw and you get impression of the screw head and hole.

    There is such a big design flaw in this collection that MSI should be held responsible. I have repaired the hinges on my computer three times and now it's gone again. However, the computer is less than three years old. For the price, hopelessly rubbish quality. However, the computer cost almost €2000 new. And if you wanted to repair with real parts, they would cost at least €200, MSI tried to save on assembly and lost in quality. A lot. Wasn't my first MSI, but I'll switch brands in the future.

      also, tiny battery, while they waste so much space for these awful speakers. i known it's removeable but completely wrong design.

    Can the hinges of an MSI GS65 Stealth be greased? A hinge was pulled from my screen housing. I disassembled them and I see that they move very hard. That's why I think it came off the case. What oil can I grease them with?

    • @julianhcuestas
      @julianhcuestas 5 месяцев назад

      Don't grease it. Simply loosen the nut until you feel it is perfect. If you loosen it too much, the screen will not stand on its own

    Can you reprogram the chip to allow drawing more amps than the recommended amp rating?

    • @BarziHSaeed
      @BarziHSaeed 2 месяца назад

      Does that chip send max current signal ? Or it is just temp sensor ? Did you find out how to alter the 16amp cable to draw 32amp ?

    • @LaptopDoctor
      @LaptopDoctor 25 дней назад

      I am sure, the signal that comes from the chip is passed to the Tesla computer to approve the charging current. if the signal is tampered with, it would default to the low amp mode. The chip is also a temp. sensor.

    • @LaptopDoctor
      @LaptopDoctor 25 дней назад

      The amp usage is set by the Tesla charging module after confirming the chip serial communication. I drought if anyone can mess with the configuration.

    • @BarziHSaeed
      @BarziHSaeed 24 дня назад

      @@LaptopDoctor then how is it possible that there are selleres who sell 32amp cables which are not from tesla ?

    • @LaptopDoctor
      @LaptopDoctor 22 дня назад

      @@BarziHSaeed I think the chip in the plug, does reports the type of the plug and temperature., but The original Tesla charger box must have the circuit to communicate the charging current and it must be limited to 24A by design to eliminate damage to the wire or box . The replacement mobile charger has a thicker wire and different design that talks the Tesla inverter to agree on a higher current. When I had issue with the cable, the charging circuit was changing the charging current depending on the voltage drop.

    Wouldn't have been better to modify/extend the cable kn the other side of the charger? The part that plugs into the car. This would allow you to keep the charger indoors and you wouldn't have to go through digging into the plug.

      I wish, I could not find a cable with data lines. I did find a source in Britain but the cable is intended for under ground. the cable has to have 3 power lines and 3-5 data lines to communicate.

    Hello all well ? Can you tell me if there's an easy way to adjust the notebook's hinge a bit? I think she's too hard and I'm afraid of ending up breaking

    • @sanyogsridhar1799
      @sanyogsridhar1799 Год назад

      Loosen the screws on the screen side a bit. It won't do much but it'll loosen it a bit. The actual tension on the hinge is given by the spring. If you want it lighter/harder, you'll have to replace the spring with a different tension

I've rigged up all kinds of jigs to hold the pins with tweezers etc etc but I still mess up!!!! Hardest part for me is removing the broken end still on the pad, they just seem not to want to come off while adjacent pins are melting and flying off!!!
