no, no i don't know who i am i relate heavily with this idea of your creation not fitting your expectations of what you think it should be. i've historically considered myself a creative, but i could honestly not tell you anything creative i've done over the past year or more because any time i try it doesn't immediately live up to the mental expectations i set for myself and i'm not willing to put in the effort to get it anywhere close to that. i've given up on creative pursuit because i'm not willing to put in the effort to get better at or finish it. i really like the final point you make about how everyone is human and has feelings to express, those expressions matter, and that getting somewhere is more about passion than other people "getting it." ultimately, even if i never find the passion to make something great, i need to at least not have the fear of what i make fitting the molds of the greats before me or conforming to expectations of what it "should" be. hope that makes sense, and banger video Penny!!
