Before continuing their conflict , the russians found Yuri s damaged time machine eaten by T Rex and so they had to work quietly in total secrecy because time machines emit powerfull beacons of energy. So Zelensky who should be the leader of Ucraine didnt build the time machine at all . He was repearing it and maybe tried to make changes to it and he did it all wrong An un named emperial commander assisted Shinzo Nogama to clear out Volkruta strategic naval ship yeard , the production place of most dreadnoughts in the Soviet Union meaning remove that and you cut the means to send ships for your country or commit to a world war with ships . Being victorious Shinzo was close enough to Moskow to thrust deeply into the Motherlands Tender Regions . After successflly assaulted Stalingrad , Kenjy took his emperial ships and head to Leningrad. However Soviet inteligence was aware and sent the premier own personal men to defend Leningrad and also repel Shinzo upfront. Kenju cut his loses and gambled to Vladivostok where he placed his palaceas a propaganda to save his sking that the Empire rules The Soviet Union . Tatsu himself was interested in the matter and Kenji was dispatched to Odesa where he had his major victory denying the Soviets to open war world wide . However the premier men , managed to take back The Motherland . The Allies , because of this , had just enough time to repel the occupied Sovet Forces world wide and based on A Brrigliant New Commander that was approved by Field Marshal Robert Bingham and also The President of the United States , senior commanders where trained , instructed based on the tactics of this one . Soviets where experimenting with Iron Courtain in Heidelberg and seemed to shield their north base indefinetly , however it did take a few vulnerable open out on the air Super reactors to mentain this and the Iron Courtain was not shielded. Soviet Officers managed to capture Special Agent Tanya and pin her down until the commander can capture a small Sovet base down river The Second Wave : Having Obliterated Odesa , The empire of The Rising Son made their presence known to the world. With the Soviets being that weaken World Leaders went to Geneva and also planned to make a move for eliminating The Soviets as well , however Cherdenko assigned his best men and Oleg to cut down the economy of newly Allied War Machine and attack a supply port and with Crukof as a back up who some say took a few banks for himself Lissete alone couldnt defend this vital port leaving no choice but to agree to a cease fire with The Sovets . Commander Moskvin was reluctent to work with the allies after being hmiliated in Cannes . Almost seem like a bad movie direct but realized he had a lot to learn from the enemy and liberated Gibralter . Zhana assisted the Free Nation commander to destroy the Floating Fortress after a failed attept to tke over Haway and the Allies to assault The Black Tortise alone as the Empire retaliated by capturing Los Angeles as they call it being the hub of the Allied Propaganda Machine Here is where Timeline gets a bit tricky : After a failed attempt to launch a new particle descelerator , a wave of energy that reduces one object to it s elements situated benneth Mount Rushmor by President Ackerman , Cherdenko assigned his best commander to Mikonos and erase the plans for this ungodly monstousity before it can be mass produced. Soviet Scientist used the information to start building a weapon of their own despite the allies not worried that The Soviets simply dont know what to do with that technology . Before attaking Tokio Harbour , Zelensky defected to Berlin and made a disclosure about the time machine . Now the Empire was well aware and defended Yokohama Harbour and then marched to Moskow . Zelensky managed to retreat to Futuretech in Amsterdam and when the Empire literally knocked on the dor of Futuretech , Zelenskywas succesfull in rebuilding Einstein original Chronosphere . From their perspective The Empire won and Emperor Yoshiro reworded his own commander with the title of Supreme Shogun. Zelensky ended up into the past after President Ackerman was stopped . Zelensky provided Futurtech with the plans for the Cronossphere and the allies used it to attack Tokyo Harbor . It was a brutal battle being abbandoned by the soviets but it s a good thing because they would have probably turned on the young commander . Meanwhile , The Soviets had internal conflict and the premier was weary of Krukof , so he made a play for the Allied Air Base in Iceland where General Krukof was defeated but not killed After the brutal attack on Tokyo , Emperor Yoshiro retreated to Mount Fuji while the other emperial commanders made a play for some soviet teritory gain. They all rushed when they found out that Cherdenko ordered the assaination of their Emperor , but it was too late . The Empire Has Fallen ! However it was going to be the situation with Tokyo , Oleg was assigned to revive their Kirovs facilities in Cuba and fortunetly , there where a few allied cities so close to them. He was repeled by the allied commander after Tokyo. Meanwhile , the soviets made aonther attempt at a cease fire on Easter Island but it was a ruse to try to eliminate Field Marshel Robert Bingham but he wasnt on board . President Ackerman retreated to New York and tried to defend it against a soviet commander who survived the massacre of Easter Island . The Statue of Liberty was destroyed and Moskvin stayed to have a bit more ... Fun ( war crimes ) Having no choice , Cherdenko retreated with Krukof and reconcile to hold their ground in Leningrad . The Kriov Lunch Facility was the final straw . Robert Bingham Marsheled his forces and made preperations to appear at the dorestep of Leningrad . It was a close call . Some say the commander rained with centry bombers while others witnessed Special Agemt Tanya beig teleported with an IFV and set charges to destroy the fortress after eliminating the Iron Courtains . With the allies proving victorious , cammarade Dasha has hidden the young new soviet premiere and planned an Uprising . A year later , in Romania ( by the way i myself am from Romania ) the victorious young Soviet Commander liberated captured soviet scientists and discovered Futuretech plans to debilitate the Soviet Union Forever . After stopping the production of cryo soldiers , in the ruins of Yucatan the EU president plan was revealed and the victorious young Soviet Commader managed to destroy The Sigma Harmonizer . Allied Forces decided to retreat from Russia to defend their own . Their first action was to assault the empire teritories and Moskvin tried to insult to injury and made a play for Oki Island but was repelled by the loialty of a emperial commander who honored his emperor . Tatsu was very close to retake the Empire to it s former Glory by capturting the port of Vladivostok . However he faild to destroy the Allied Commander and the Empire seemed to have crumble once more. Yuriko escaped allied forces captivity and headed to Japan to take her revenge on Shimada . The Facility exploded soon after and Yuriko escaped. Her last world where about how Asumi , her sister betrayed her The End ! Oh and Futurtech went on a cruciade to pillage every technology from the Soviets Allied and the Empire. And that was the entire story of Red Alert 3 ! Enjoy it !

As someone with nearly 20 years of experience in this game. You can beat the game with only 3 units. Grunts, Grenadiers and Guard towers. Grunts for attack and reinforcement, Grenadiers to crack defenses. And Guard towers to defend from patrols. 😅 In my experience building advanced units like MG and Bazooka are generally not worth it because they take too long to train and are too slow and have poor hit points. I usually back up my grunts with half tracks if the area is very well defended, as they can shoot at everything and are an all round powerful unit.

A favorite tactic of mine I've only ever used against bots is getting a couple of snipers and mortar men, use the snipers as spotters for the mortar men and take out buildings at long range, if infantry comes the snipers will pick them off fairly well, though usually I have them high tail it if they see enemy armor or a high enough enemy count.

I wish the Army Men franchise would come back in all versions. The top down tactical shooter, the third person shooter and of course the RTS. Mean Greens and Attack on Toys just don’t do it for me. I need the story

I really wish someone would take the Toy RTS aspect again, and not like a tower defense or something but a actual RTS inside a house campaign, i just loved this games asthetic

I played this on PS2, man that was a time. Always remember the mission where Sarge swears (bleeped of course). 10yr old me was quite shook hearing swearing in my video game.

so i found out army men strike is not at all related to the army men games and volcanic are a Chinese mobile game studio.. the army men franchise is owned by 2K :)

Vikky is something like spy - war reporter/news journalists for the Green nation. Unlike this game where Army men are depicted as pure toys almost, they originally come from their own world where Green and Tan are superpower nations in keeping each other in balance with smaller Grey and Blue nations around them. And then they discover portals to our world and keep fighting there.

Once you go Tan, you never go back... Green. Or something.

I see youtube algoritmus told creators it's time for Army men nostalgia time.

Now this is nostalgic. I thought this was the best Army Men game as it all took place in the 'real world', which was the most fun part of the setting (I enjoyed the other games, but being in a fake plastic world tended to not look great). I do actually know of one other game with the resource recovery from destroyed units mechanic - Supreme Commander. The units in that would (sometimes) leave behind a burnt hulk that could be broken down into 'mass', one of the two resources (the other being energy... kind of similar to Army Men RTS in that way too. And both of them ate up many many hours of my childhood, though it's only Supreme Commander that I actually go back to these days).

Holy crap. This was my first RTS, too. I had the gamecube version on the wii, but the gamecube memory/storage card thing we had was corrupted so I could not save progress between sessions. But I was too young to really care about that. Thanks for covering this, I really wanna find how to replay it and complete it but apparently my computer is too modern for it 😭

I remember playing and loving this game on the GameCube as a teenager, sadly never beat it though.

if i had a nickel for every furry i knew who had a childhood playing this game, id have at least two. one of those being me :3 i sunk an ungodly amount of time.into the PS2 version of this game and managed to gold all of the missions, from the campaign, to the great battles and spec ops.
