Huge Spanish saves the day
In this episode I went offshore looking for snapper, but soon found they were not going to play my game. So with a lot of patience I put plan B into place and at 12pm I landed this brute.

Great day out... hey MD ..What speed you trolling the hard bodies at... I vant get past 9 knots without it jumping out the water... Halco laser pro 190.. 🤷🏻
Hi mark I’ve found you have to be hitting above 10knots to get hits. the halcos sometimes need to be tuned to be able to get that speed, if you get them spot on you can get around 15knots out of them.

I prefer overhead reels.I troll with speed masters 12 and 16 they cop a flogging on rough waters. I’ve been using a great product called Ballistol that I spray inside my reels every time I come back in. I just had them serviced after 2.5years and they are perfect

One mackerel paid to the tax man. What's your experienced input regarding your ski collars vs tubbies, re handling, weight and fuel, etc.
My gaff is about 85cm I like it at that length easily stowed
