the 'best'? lol bro, just do ur homework before claiming something too big lol i really don't expect people knew "Tiong Bahru" chicken rice since they famous since late 1980 ish ... lol, but not even mentioning wee nam kee, tian tian, ah tai, boon tong kee or even hawker chan? i heard a lot good things from chatterbox but haven't tried that i am not singaporean and not live in sg and chicken rice is my least fav singapore dishes, but i tried to do justice for hainanese chicken rice....... at least respect the dish and good research to represent that dish... just saying good luck on next video bro

At Brothers taco get the ground beef taco with the spicy potatoes with the red sauce if it’s still available, that’s really good.

He also stirs in a tablespoon of olive oil which makes it even yummier!

I'm not a picky eater at all, If something is good for me I'll just eat it and not care... I tried this and I don't think I'll try it again, maybe I'll try the un-blended version

he is right about brothers. it's glorified gas station tacos. and a mid gas station taco at that. in fact houston tacos are pretty weak in general. people just like the aesthetic of the taco, the trucks, the poor hard working immigrants. we all know we could make cheaper, tastier food at home with simple, healthier ingredients. it's a yuppie excursion for cultural enrichment. Laredo taqueria, tio trompo, brothers, villa arcos, etc., im putting all houston taco makers on notice: do better. use salt. season your meat.

Its totally bonkers that he suggests people eat it this way. It fucks up people's appetite. He makes abstraction of the utility of well tasting food for the sake of scientific purity. I don't have proof but I'm sure there will be scientific proof for that in the future. (Been on the protocol for 6 weeks now. Made my own version of the dish, same ingredients, other preparation).

I'm a simple man. Nothing tops Cocoichi It's only lowly rated because its a chain and locals view it more of a fast-food. I still think it tastes the best though.

Brothers is decent. great prices for that location in the heart of Houston. Ive never gone there and had rice on any of my tacos. I guess they used it when you told them to give you whatever they recommended. I always tell them refried beans and whatever one of the pots looks good.
