@@PLAYER2035 If you have a defective product get it changed. You might have something more than the motherboard which is facing issues. I've tested this board with multiple ram kits from Kingston and GSkill. So if you're unable to get advertised speeds or beyond there must be an issue with your system or configuration in general.

This board audio codec also is crap. For 370EU board i will not buy it for this crapy 4080 codec.

You need to check if your phone supports usb output. I think it doesnt rotate, i cannot remember.

@kopitech Thank you for responding. I figured out how to get it to rotate (in Display settings as one would do with a regular monitor). I raised a ticket with MSI tech support re: phone connection and still waiting for their response. My phones are quite modern (S20 & S21), so they should support USB output. They support HDMI & USB output, but they're not even displaying via the mini HDMI cable 😕

@ I got the z870 amd one and she got the z790 because we were told the intel 13-14th gen processors run badly and have been returned more than once damaged

@@TheDatingWarriors wise choice on the x870. If you're purely into gaming we just released a video on how the new 9800X3D is winning the horse race. Check it out! Yeah as for Intel 12,13,14, there is an issue that's currently ongoing. However Intel did release an update that would negate the issue, however it works only for the new processors. If you're running an old one, you're bound to get struck by the issue and go for a warranty procedure.

In whatever situations you've faced, I'm probably guessing it's your distributor who rejected whatever said claim you have. It's a biased statement to say MSI as a whole, as a matter of fact in Malaysia the brand oversees all these claims with their distribution chain.

@@kopitech The price on good m.2 have come down so much nowadays that it just makes sense to buy a large capacity one for the main drive. I have a 2TB Samsung and don't even have it filled up halfway yet since I don't let games just sit on my storage forever if i'm not going to play them.

@@wvjeepguy8178 you are absolutely wrong, i have an X570 board and have populated all 3 M.2 Slots and i was planning on getting an X870 board with 4 M.2 slots, but most of the X870 boards gimp the PCIE slot if you use all 4 M.2s

@@ltomxl I just know where I stand with this one pal. We don’t really know anything yet with the 9000 series x3d. The 9000’s just hasn’t really performed any better than the one I’m using. If it’s a big jump in performance then I’ll consider getting one.

@@ltomxl My exact thoughts, but depends if he absolutely needs it now especially for work with company or clients. If it is leisure, then it is a waste. I also know that X3D 9000 series will perform much better than 7000 X3D

@@KingdomUploader from what I recall while using, it's bgr. I did notice color overlays/spillage on the texts. But thanks, I'll definitely include this element in upcoming monitor reviews.

@@kopitech Well that's a real shame; fwict, the consensus is that anything other than RGB and you get blurry text. I also heard that windows has a cleartype mode for rgb and one for bgr but once you tweak it in bgr mode - only some fonts respond well, so it's not a complete fix. Man, i thought choosing a graphics card was tough! Thank for getting back to me.

Marketing of the product had many believe it was a gaming processor but it isn't in my opinion. Do watch that and let me know on your feedback!
