i drive nights for tarmac love it
Great job on your part. Pity the instructor seems a total fool, riding in front a lot of the time. That is a really bad way to run a CBT. I'd avoid any instructor like that.
@@Mr_Machrihanish cheers mate, grateful I don’t have to do it again now I have my full license haha!
8:12 I normally see people hate on the obvious idiots but well done to that driver in the mercedes van for being so patient and the audi driver 13:59
Can’t wait to get 125 cbt😭
I had to do cbt in the rain aswell lol luckily I was on a scooter
is it true tippers have no tailswing?
what bike is he riding
I nearly failed mine..I kept forgetting to turn my indicator off..
why is the instructor infront? and filtering on cbt? yikes
My bike test cost me £35 in 1995 I done it on my KMX 125 👌
I got nervous watching the instructor losing you and you're just riding alone for a bit.. imagine taking the wrong turn or something..?
Agree or disagree. But as far as I'm concerned, bike tests these days are just a money-making scam. When I was younger, you took your test on the road with one guy standing and watching you. and it must have taken half an hour. All this crap now is just to con people out of a lot of money, and I don't like being conned. I haven't passed my test, but I was riding a 250-cc for years and never had any accidents. It may be important if you intend to ride a high-powered bike but not a 250-cc There is nothing they could teach me that would make me ride any better. I'm sure it would be easier and less hassle to get your flying license. I only wish I had taken my test before they brought all this bullsh*t in.
My Uncle rides and he thinks the same as you, all a waste of your money cos let's be honest, you should be able to ride upto AT LEAST a 125cc without a CBT, all you need to learn is basic highway code so a small test on that would be enough. Anyone can teach themselves in a quiet car park or street to ride and get used to clutch control. When I was younger we all used to ride dirt bikes, and Quads round open fields and woods and we self taught with no risk of crashing into anyone or anything (no one ever rang police then either or if police did appear they would just tell us to be careful) whereas now kids can't even do stuff like that without some person ringing the police on them and the bikes getting confiscated! The whole thing needs to be sorted out, or at a minimum they need to at least change the 2 year CBT renewal thing cos that's ridiculous, once or twice is enough, then after 5 years on it you should no longer need L plates and you can have a passenger. Whole thing is a joke!
@@gentleoutdoors Yes, I think things were much less hassle back then and a lot more fun when I was a lot younger. You took one test, and that was it, but I made the mistake of not taking my test, and I’ve always regretted it. I believe all these different so-called tests are just money-making schemes and totally ridiculous. Some people say there are fewer bike accidents because of the new tests, but fewer accidents could also be down to the fact there are fewer bikes on the road. Many people can’t afford these tests or are unwilling to pay the ridiculous amount they charge. I did have 250cc and 125 and used to ride them on a provisional license, then I think the size dropped down to 125cc on provisional. I can imagine it was a good laugh. riding quads in fields. I used to ride in fields, but I only had a trail bike. A friend of mine is trying to get me to take my CBT with him, but it’s the principle of it. I wouldn’t pay for a test where I can only ride for 2 years when I did the same thing on a provisional license many years ago without any sort of test back in the good old days, and I totally agree something needs to be done about this ridiculous money-making scheme.
@@gentleoutdoors"you should be able to ride at least a 125cc without your CBT" I like how it's always people who haven't even taken the CBT who say stuff like this. Yes it is for money as is literally everything else in the world. However THE DEATH COUNT FOR MOTORCYCLES WAS INCREDIBLY HIGH BEFORE THE CBT EVEN EXISTED. This literally tells us that we as people clearly need basic training. People lack common sense which is why the CBT is needed for everyone. This is coming from a guy who literally did the CBT on Thursday. I saw one guy on a 50 CC MOPED RIDE HORRIBLY, NO OBSERVATION, NO INDICATORS AND BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT BY AT LEAST 10MPH. If you think that anyone should be able to go on a motorcycle at any moment then there must be something wrong in your head. Riding isn't for everyone and it's as simple as that. "Anyone can teach themselves in a quiet car park" as if people would do that. Notice how it's a "can" and not "must". This is why the CBT exists in the first place. To force people to actually train rather than get themselves killed
Hahaha the kids at the bus stop shouting do a wheelie. I had the exact same on my cbt 9 years ago 😅
10:40 "Fawking Wanker!"

Ive done the usual tail lift one ton pallets bollox and curtain side work with general haulage crap but had enough of that. After a break doing other stuff, bulk work is the only thing I would consider these days.
