Construction of Waiyaki way-red hill link road has transformed western and northern part of Nairobi City.

Nairobi Western Bypass Highway, is a planned road in Kenya, the largest economy in the East African Community.

This is an infrastructural project to upgrade Ruiru Town Market to meet international standards.

Chaka Market in Nyeri County has been upgraded into an industrial hub to serve not only the county but the entire Mt Kenya region.

The Market is located adjacent to the Kikuyu-Nairobi bus park in Kikuyu town and has played a key role in decongesting the town's hawking business. More than 2400 traders have already been relocated in the modern market.

NMS constructs ultra modern bus termini in various parts of the city centre. The bus termini will help in the decongestion of the city centre.

The Nairobi Metropolitan service continues to upgrade Nairobi county. The latest upgrade being the construction of 24 hospitals in various informal settlements across Nairobi County.

The southern Bypass has helped in decongesting Nairobi CBD and parts of Mombasa road.

Since NMS began supplying clean water to Informal settlements like Mukuru kwa Reuben, Njenga, Kayaba, Mathare and Dandora, there has been improvements in terms of hygiene for both locals and the environment.

The new Asphalt plant along Kangundo Road is capable of producing 1.5 tonnes per minute. Nairobi County roads are expected to have a new face as the plant produces all required materials to be used on time. Previously, Nairobi relied on the Asphalt plant along Nanyuki Road which was producing between 150 to 300 tonnes of Asphalt per day.
