She messed up in the end of the song close to you, the background singer was prerecorded with the high pitch haunting scream and as it begun to play attempting yo make it appear as if she was singing in that range but realized as it begun she could not hold that note for the life of her, she started then stopped and then tried to redeem herself by attempting the end part with her voice singing along with it, she pulled it off i give her that much as the concert was raw, but she can not sing those high pitches its all assumulsted with her voice and the magic of the editing dept. But shes pretty cool and part of the 80s Canadian rock chicks i grew up listening to. She created an image for herself and it worked for the brief period of time that it did. I'm sure she made her money and got out in time

I worked at the Diamond at the time. I had never seen the stage transformed like they did for Lisa. The mood WAS perfectly set.

What is so sad is that historically whites had hoodwinked indigenous communities in order to profit materially, and now we are having to come to terms with an individual who we wanted to believe in and genuinely trust. This is a bitter and confusing pill to have to swallow and I still cling to the hope (as many do) that there can be some sort of explanation to allow us to reach an understanding and move forward in a spirit of compassion and hard lessons learned. That is my hope.
