how do you pray single decade rosary? want to get myself one of them.
well you'd treat it like a normal one, and just go round and round until you finish.
Can only catholic people carry these? Because I am anglican
I don't see why not, but I guess the question is why would you carry them if you aren't using them? People will think you are Catholic, which I would think an Anglican would not want to be labeled as?
Our Sorrowful Mother's Ministry has a pocket rosary with three medals. You may like that one too. They seem to be a good ministry to support. And they and the shipping is reasonable.

Unless you're in a temple or a mosque, never hide your faith. And never worry about what the closed-minded baptists say. They're mostly firmer catholics that lost their faith unless they grew up baptist. Their so-called pastors are Catholic haters, and they convince their people we're bad. I thought Jesus taught us to live all and hate the sin, but these baptists hate catholics without knowing any thing about our faith.
I used to have that rosary, only with the red/black paracord and I was disappointed in the acryl-plastic beads. I know acryl is higher quality plastic but it felt cheap and the glossy surface did not help. After months I decided holy items must never be made out of plastic, only metal, stone or wood, so I decided to give it to a friend. It would be better if they used gunmetal beads instead.
I felt the same way. I was disappointed in the glossy plastic beads. However, I recently bought their Irish Blessings Rosary with metal beads and I’m much happier with it. I’m glad I gave them another chance, but I shy away from the ones with plastic beads.

I have one of these rosaries and gifted one to my son who I am praying comes back to the Catholic faith. The cross is very unique and has many symbols depicting aspects of Jesus crucifixion. I believe it is explained on the Rugged Rosaries website. A nice way to ponder Jesus suffering for our sins during Lent, praying the sorrowful mysteries, and in celebrating his resurrection at Easter and his promise to us for eternal life if we have faith and follow Him.
I like that everything for that day is all together. But I’m not sure about having a new one each month, because it’s just going to pile up!🤷🏽♀️ Idk I haven’t decided yet. Do you still receive these?
I just stopped recently. I have a ton piled up… and I have to wait for my church to do it’s annual burning and burying of holy items. Cause you can’t just throw the books out.
Exactly! There are so many RUclipsrs who discourage going to the NO, & look down on people who go there. It’s actually sad & dividing! The Catholic Church has so much richness to it. If you enjoy TLM great! If you enjoy NO great! Or even the Eastern Rites that’s also great! But don’t discourage someone else because you prefer one over the other! Christ is present in every Catholic Church!💜✝️💖
Do you know exactly what was changed in these books after the revisions? I plan on buying them for my family.
The unrevised, which is hard to find, was pre-Vatican II. You can probably find them on eBay. Personally I see nothing wrong with these and I used these when I went to Roman Catholic school in the ‘80s. They actually do a great job of making things very simple to understand for young ones and teens. It’s very helpful for those converting to our faith.
I believe the first decade starts with the thumb and then index finger 2nd decade etc
I and my family travel an hour and twenty minutes to attend a missa cantata where my boys serve and this has been a dream come true for me. I definitely agree though that folks should not be negatively criticized for not attending the TLM. This is uncharitable and certainly gives more fuel to certain lay people and clerics in their campaign against the 'rigidity' of certain followers of our blessed Lord which, in turn, only further divides us.

I do want to try a TLM. The closest one is like an hour drive from me. I have an NO mass that's a 5 minute walk from my house. Obviously I'm gonna choose that NO overall.
Thanks for commenting! Nothing wrong with that. I do suggestion you try it at least once to see the difference. But overall no one should be shaming you because you won’t drive an hour out of your way.. (not saying anyone actually is but some might at some point)
Today's commentary was based on what was really bugging me.. This happened to be on my mind.
I think wearing a Rosary is in poor taste and bad judgement. A Rosary should be used and held in the hands to pray. Then kept in a pocket to be taken with you. A Rosary is NOT a piece of jewelry or other ornamentation. If you want to display a symbol of your faith, there are much better ways. A small cross (crucifix), a medal of the Virgin Mary or your patron saint would do that job very well. My choice of adornment is the Miraculous Medal. I find it to be the most powerful tool to keep me focused on what truly matters in my life. Thank you Will. Great videos and timely topics...especially in these times. God Bless.
Thank you for your thoughts. I agree with you here. I have crucifix with two Saint medals on my neck normally. Far as wearing around your neck, i found mostly people from Mexico do this and I asked why to a few of my friends and they said it’s what they were taught or it’s there as a constant reminder to “do good in life”. Found that interesting.
@@willthatcatholicguy it is interesting but like I previously stated, there are other ways to do this without turning the Rosary into wearable expression of faith. I find that those who do this USUALLY wear their religious beliefs on their sleeves. Openly profess Catholicism then go home and cuss out the spouse for having dinner late.

Fear and perhaps spiritual ignorance will prevent someone from doing research on the Catholic Faith. I myself was born and raised Catholic; converted to Born again Christianity in my Early teens, and by the grace of God came back to where I belong in the Catholic Faith many decades later. I pray my Rosary everyday, and never felt more Spiritually Blessed and Alive than I do now. Just because the Catholic church has taken a tremendous beating from the devil over the years; and even now, doesn't mean that it's a false church or a cult. Are the three tail beads made of metal or plastic?
They are metal. It’s a nice solid Rosary!
I looked up this rosary and it says the black beads are acrylic resin? Basically plastic, so not metal. I would very much prefer one of these with all metal beads. Not sure how long acrylic beads will look over time when carried in front pocket with keys and other objects

I understand and sometimes we all feel that way. I know not everything I’ve asked for happens as well. I keep moving forward, loving and trusting in God that He will do what’s best for me. Thanks for checking out the video.
I lot of the times it's that we're not open to HIs answers ("No" or "Not yet") because we want something then and there. We want the "Yes" and "Right away". But God doesn't work that way. Countless people after having encounters realize and tell us that all along, even when we think God wasn't paying attention to us or listening to our prayers or answering them, He really was and was giving you the best things for our salvation. It's just that we can't see through HIs eyes and wisdom or timeline. Having said that, I'm in the same boat. Just gotta keep moving forward and pray believing He does hear our prayers and He has the best plans for us all.

Similarly I did order a few things from them too. I gave one Floral Battle Beads Rosary for a gift, and one for myself. I ended up giving both away and getting myself the Gentleman's Parachord Rosary and now I use that one primarily and I plan to stick with that one. I also got some Holy Water flaks and a Devil Chaser. I was treating Catholicism like a new hobby. It's histerical but that phase is over and I am still just a practicing Catholic now.
I sarted wearing it under my clothes, you can see it a bit around the neck ofc but I try to hide it as much as possible, mostly bc I don't want people who see it to feel uncomfortable. I wear it bc feeling it there helps to keep my mind where it matters plus we ladies don't always get to have nice pockets and if I leave it in my purse I admit I forget about it. So, for the time being, I wear it bc I need it close to me.

Right today I prayed the entire rosary (all 4 mysteries) AND The Divine Mercy Chaplet ☺️. I've just had some time ☺️... Usually to me it takes to pray between 30-60 minutes ☺️. Everyone is different. Nice rosary, I have a RR too, it's from 2017. It's fully customized, so it doesn't have a name. I tend to do a review on it...and I will do...
