I went to france about 20 years ago, this city was on just a stop in my tour but this place stood out more than any place i went to. There use to be a dip in the road to let people turn into the old city, On a sunday about 11pm we hit that dip doing 80mph and jumped the other side. SO MUCH FUN.

If you are going in summer and want to cool off, it's always nice to go through stadsparken/slottsparken towards "ribban" (the sandy beach front) or "västra hamnen" where you can jump straight off the bridges into deeper waters (6m). In Västra hamnen they have restaurants and cafés overlooking the Öresund strait. If you are staying for a weekend I can recommend renting bikes because it's so easy to get around by bike in Malmö with all the protected bike lanes within the city. The municipality offers something called "Malmö by Bike". There are stations all over the city (locations can be found in their app or the webpage). There are also other companies offering e-scooters and e-bikes. All are great if you want to cover distances yet explore the city at your own pace.
