This video is 7 years old. Is it still relevant if I want to learn amadeus now?

I created a second software for an agency that actually generates the commands for them. for example, they ask the client about their name, destination, departure, date of return etc.. then the software shows you what to type in Amadeus, it is very useful.

this would've been helpful in 2015 when I worked for a flight company haha. oh boi, this is SO nostalgic for me. i loved working with amadeus, it somehow felt "natural" to me, but I know that others had huge issues understanding what we are even doing. it's nice to see though that people still find this useful and that amadeus is still around :D

I worked 3 years in Saudi Arabia and have taken gds training but forgot my certificate in my office , admin or office clerk their not responding me when I’m asking for my certificate why I’m telling you because I resigned from the company and iata rules says it’s more than 5 years now, cannot do any thing. So what to do get iata or gds certificate from iata. Please help me.

Software dev here, and only came after fascination of these systems stemmed from a Wendover Productions video. Anyways, surely there are wrapper UI front ends for these commands, right? Similar to the self service booking sites such as Expedia, Priceline etc... There's no reason to have an operator archaically use command-line codes and interfaces when a well designed GUI can support and automate many of the tasks demonstrated here, such as looking up and suggesting nearby airports, for example. My question is, who uses such an interface for booking nowadays? Is this as outdated as it looks, or still industry normal in some areas?
