I appreciate this talk, thank you. I read Micha Frazer-Carroll's book on the politics of mental health. I've worked in the homeless services field and have lived experience with mental health services. A major gap that we need to be talking about is a dearth of education, training and services for our neurodivergent participants (particularly autistic and adhd). So many are falling through the cracks. We aren't talking about it and we aren't doing anything about it. I was actually disappointed that this video wasn't about that, because I can find very little focusing on this problem.

I need help with my situation that's been ongoing I'm not even sure where to begin. But 2019 was the very first experience with this program. However there's since been so much throughout from being introduced through my case advocate from Crisis intervention Mason City Iowa. Setting up for failure is an understatement due to option of landlords particularly well known as the epitome of slumlord is defined. I've never been a fan of those terminology used to describe a potential landlord.. however I'm left with absolutely no other experience but with such landlord surroundings , experience overall. I'm currently terrified by situation resulting in being returning to homelessness ,when this has due to lack of advocacy case management with all but 1. Which is the very beginning 2019 as mentioned my very first introduction to the rapid rehousing program . . I feel like I'm standing in the middle of an entire room full of people screaming for someone to hear me to help me screaming for my life but nobody blinks an eye... What I've mentioned here isn't even remotely close to my personal experiences ... Please know this. I've even been talked to from supervisor about issues but when I asked if they informed the new worker of my case finding they speak of me as if I simply just like to talk , without any highlights at any point about what I've expressed . Aswell as documentation and such advocating , referrals basically everything thing mentioned throughout places I've researched best I can being very uneducated with technology and finding nothing but myself feeling like a complete joke and extremely concerned for those trusting such program representation and the overall work ethics and more being from my personal point of view I feel very uncomfortable saying is like factory assembly lines worker's combined with what slumlords by definition but more over the literal truth of KNOWN slumlords in my current town of residence. Please help . trauma informed isn't at all remotely close to what I'm experiencing. . I'm at my wits end . .
