@@ThePunchersChancePodcast I think so. Liam is shot, would have been dead on the scales. Inactive, with a great lifestyle just a pension filler. Ishmael is hungry, strong, always in the gym. Yes he’s an underdog, will get out-sped but if he can stay strong and survive until the mid-rounds it’ll be interesting.

@@ThePunchersChancePodcast hard to say really butty but by the end of next year I think it’ll be a distant memory I think the ‘superstars’ will overvalue themselves after this Saudi money, without the ‘superstars’ the casual fans wont be too bothered about boxing

We spoke about it fully on the podcast this is clipped from. The Olympics Committee are at fault for letting politics between themselves and the IBA get in the way of fairness. But the fighter got unrivalled amounts of hate for fighting under a license they’d been granted by the IOC. This was what i was trying to say more than anything 😁 - Sam

We all had it a close fight. Think Ortiz won enough of the opening and closing rounds despite the KDs to have won it, would be no real complaints if Bohachuk had got the result though

@@ThePunchersChancePodcast I only had Ortiz winning 2,3,10,11 6 and 12 I scored as draws. Both knockdowns were 10-8 116-112. This fight wasn’t that close. Some close rounds but not overall.

The issue is the IBA took a very long time to release that info, allowing her to be heavily criticised in the meantime. Ultimately the Olympics said she can fight so she did, doesn’t deserve any of that hate IMO - Sam

The chromosome test hasn’t even been released by the IBA. All we actually know is the IBA have banned her based on ‘a blood test’. The whole situation shows why people need to be careful with what we see or read online before they comment - Sam

I think it’s because 90% of the fights he’s made to now have been with British fighters. He’s upped the level of boxing in this country ten fold. We’ll see if he has the same impact in the states 🤷‍♂️
