How to hatch brine shrimp eggs
Просмотров 56Год назад
This video is a step by step on how to hatch your own brine shrimp eggs. Baby brine shrimp are perfect if you have baby fish to feed. As well as feeding your community fish tank as a whole. I've had great experiences using live brine shrimp and it is also very inexpensive. The whole kit was $26 and the brine shrimp eggs were $10. I purchased both on Amazon. There are many options available to c...

Brother, this is exactly what I needed to see. There are so many videos of people sitting in front a camera and explaining the breeding box, yet none of them show the actual parts and installation. Thanks so much man
@@tigereye8593 You’re welcome. I’m glad that you liked the video. I appreciate the view and comment 💯💯
Probably not for bettas....
I really want this now. This would had saved me loosing some small fry before being ate.
Yes, I highly recommend especially if you're breeding fish. They come in two different sizes. So just pick which one works best for you.
Nice job i would definitely get more rock thought
I have to do an update video. I now have a lot of live rock and fish, crabs, an eel.
Are you using tap water with conditioner?
Yes. I use API essentials. It’s a one in all conditioner.
i saw another video where a box trap worked with the intake tube.. the box trap had a moss type of plant on it where the fish laid their eggs onto it and then sucked up into this holding tank.. Your video only relies on sucking them in with this small intake tube... are you missing this in your video explanation.
Not sure what I’m missing in my explanation.
@@JavierGumbs This video here the u tuber has an additional box with a green plant on it where the fish lay the eggs onto this trap box... it is an add on to the system. ruclips.net/video/wSAIOeHeTog/видео.htmlsi=P2hXA9RWKYfsla5r
I think you mean the video by Sydney's Angels. He connected this box with the egg catcher in. The main tank, as well as recommended to put a piece of sponge behind that output gate so no smaller fry gets through.
5:48 PRO TIP: SPIT ON IT! 😂 Great review bro, getting one of these soon
Appreciate the comment!!

What are your goals with the tank? Fish only? Or do you want some coral
I definitely want to do a reef tank. Fish, coral, inverts. I already have something in the tank now. Will definitely be doing an update video soon. Thanks for your comment!
Of course, just a suggestion, I would put way more rock in there. I’d buy Marco rock from bulk reef supply. The rocks provide service area for beneficial bacteria to grow. That will allow a more stable tank
@@Saltwaterknowledgehub yes definitely. I actually just got about 50 lbs of rock. About to make a video of adding the new rock.
What sort of fish are you going to put in there brother?
I'm doing a saltwater aquarium. So definitely a pair of clownfish, I really want to add a small snowflake eel and will definitely transfer it to a larger tank once it gets bigger. A pair of coral banded shrimps. I will post videos when I add new fish. Subscribe. Thanks for the comment.
Love you bro so great info. Aloha from hawaii 🤙🏽
Thanks bro. I greatly appreciate your comment. More content coming. Much love!! 🙌🏾
Hi 👋 . One question How you build your air pump machine ? You build the special stand-box
The air pump is basically a small air compressor. With an air distributor splitter attached. Then frame it with wood and egg crate. The egg crate helps keep it cool so it doesn't overheat. I would add styrofoam to help with the noise/vibration.
Hey free food 😂
😂that’s exactly what he was thinking.
I bought this same Fluval as well as a Taiwanese made Onsta brand HOB style breeder box from Amazon. Not only is the Onsta cheaper, but it is also deeper in size adding more volume and has 3 seperate feeding hole at the top. I found this MUCH more useful when you have separate compartments inside setup. You dont have to take the top off for every one, which annoys me unnecessarily but its because I have 8 going. 😅 I have 8 Onsta going now and 1 Fluval in the box under a cabinet.
I've never heard of the Insta brand HOB, but will definitely check it out. Thanks for the information.
abrupt end, but informational thank you!
😂
Got the same tank….
How do you like it? What do you have in it?
Good video but do you need your skimmer on before you have live stock? I just worried what that may do to the live sand.
The skimmer is not really important. I've had many saltwater aquariums and have never used a skimmer and the aquariums did great. It doesn't affect live sand.
Great video. Appreciate you going through step by step. Good luck and I look forward to watching your progress :-) ...Of course I subscribed !
Thank you. I greatly appreciate your comment and you becoming a subscriber!! 💯 I'm glad you enjoyed the video and there will definitely be way more content to come.
Thanks bro. I really appreciate the support. I will definitely keep posting content. Thanks for subscribing!! I'm glad that you didn't quit on your 30g Nani reef. What do you have inside of your aquarium?
this came across my home page and decided to click it for the hell of it! keep doing your thing man! my 30g nano reef has been a journey of both very bad (almost quit 3 times) and now (6 months later) very good
