Vad blir nästa våg? Ett samtal om svensk skönlitteraturs framgångar utomlands
I never was a big fan of Moraz’s keyboard playing. He's no Mike Pinder (RIP Mike 😢) or Rick Wakeman.
the fact that Moraz is Swiss and mainly speaks French makes him automatically guilty.
once I heard that he has a French accent, I realized that explains everything.
Plaintiff's dipshit lawyer is trying to goad and unnerve Graeme Edge.
Justin is so prince-like
Lol he pissed off Neville Johnson at 1:47 😂😂😂😂😂
I want my handy hanger 😅
I've never been to court but I'd hate to have that experience...never liked being questioned at school or in my workplace!!
Haha! Excellent! Justin was too smart for that sleazy lawyer! 😂
Patrick was superb in Yes, always thought the Moodies were a bit of a mismatch for him. Regardless, this was silly.
Awful sound. YOU SUCK!
Musicians just want to play music. The music industry is brutal. Lawsuits all over the place. Rip offs too by managers etc. Look what happened to Badfinger - terrible sad story
13 years is a long time. Makes me wonder bur i don't know the specifics
Hope the outcome of this trial comes up
Moraz's lawyer is an arse. John Lodge kept his cool. He had to repeat so many answers.
I really like Graeme he kept this interesting. He has a sense of humor had the judge laughing a few times. I wouldn't want to ever get on the wrong side of Graeme though he doesn't take nonsense
Too bad this is out of synch and repeats
Moraz's lawyer was a putz and really crude and crass. He didn't have his info right either and Justin corrected him several times. Justin never lost his composure class act. Moraz's lawyer didn't even know had to pose questions correctly. The MB manager had to expain some of the stupidist answers. Perhaps Moraz lawyer wasn't the best.
11-24-2024. I would love to be an actor for this show. Me, I would own the hotel.
I don’t know who Jack Webb is!
What does HQ mean (obviously not HD).
11-24-2024. I would say HQ might be for High Quality. Just my guess.
This lawyer couldn’t be less prepared. He’s pathetic.
Fantastic series and I’m particular, this episode. Outstanding performance by Peter Falk, and a lovely Inger Stevens. One of my favorite dramas on tv! 👏👍♥️
Yea Hayward was cool. He seems surprised that this whole thing was happening. Patrick you should have stayed with Yes.
Mr. Hayward was unflinching. Never let them see you sweat. Mr. Moraz should have taken the $400,000 offer.
By 1977, Lodge, Hayward and co. were focused on $$$. Recordings were all about who gets publishing rights etc. Same issue with Mick Jones and Lou Gramm in Foreigner.
Around 11:15, I was sad to learn Justin Hayward doesn't know who Jack Webb was. But then Dragnet doesn't really seem like it would be part of The Moody Blues' world.
Patrick moraz’s style didn’t fit with the moody blues. I don’t know why they hired him. They should have found someone else who played the mellotron. That’s was their unique and mysterious sound. I really don’t like Patrick at all now I know he sued the moody blues. Mike pinder was a big loss.
I agree, the Mellotron defined the Moody Blues' sound as much as Justin Hayward's voice and writing. But it became outdated with the rise of the synthesizer.
Please, Patrick Moraz just take your ball and go home 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What's with the repeated footage at the end? I see this on a lot of videos.
Someone commented how much he differed from Mike Pinder. I agree. Listen to the Yes album Relayer. That's Moraz. But he said as a kid learning keyboards that his dream was to play in the Moody Blues. Refugee was a decent album. But he was a monster soloist like Wakeman whom he replaced.
Moraz was brutal, never fitted in, as for greed he was replaced by 2 keyboards, enough said.
Never liked Moraz's keyboard work. Much too flash.
He was with Yes. I was really surprised when he joined the Moodies. He said he always wanted to play with them. I lo e yes and the Moodies. Just very different styles of music.
Very bad video!
Video messed up at the end.
I lost a lot respect for these guys after that.
This trial was initiated by greedy lawyers looking for a big payout. Patrick was not a singer-songwriter, and his playing was just OK. I resent Patrick for going through with this. He smeared his own name as a contract paid accessory. Patrick was loved as a friend and player with his own style, but not as a true partner in the franchise that is the Moody Blues. Mike Pinder will always be the permanent 4th member & keyboard player of the Moody Blues franchise. As part of the millions of fans, I get to define the franchise and Moraz was NEVER a MOODY TO ME!
This prosecuting attorney makes a lot of mistakes.
The prosecuting attorney is badgering Justin.
I wonder why Patrick only stayed with Yes for two years?
Wakeman wanted back in
That prosecuting attorney makes me laugh 😅because he says wrong words and everything else.
I think Patrick Moraz just wanted the fame he expected to get with the Moody Blues. I wondered what in the world he was doing there! 🤔
I thought at the time that hiring Moraz was a mistake. Yes, he was clever and a virtuoso player but couldn't have been more different from Mike Pinder whom he was replacing. He was flashy but shallow and I never liked his style at all. Did the Moody Blues screw Moraz? Probably, and it is difficult to hear them parse questions on the stand.
I like Peter Falk as Leutenant Frank Columbo.
❤❤❤❤❤🤟
What a horrible example of the legal profession, this so-called lawyer cross-examining Graeme Edge. Sleazy. Crude. Not even paying attention in that Graeme wasn't laughing or smiling. The crowd was. What a dolt. Moraz ended up with 60K after the ambulance chaser got done with his cut. Good.
29:56 Great answer 😂
Ray was never business minded. Probably the most purely artistic member of the band. All he cared about was music. RIP ❤️
I love Ray’s song For My Lady.
Dude wrote half a song in the 13 years he was with the band while Mike Pinder always wrote for every album he did. Being on album covers and promotional materials doesn't count you as a member of the band. Contracts do. He was offered $400,000 but wanted more and only ended up with $77,000
Yes, and Justin Hayward writes all of his songs.
Brian May is lookin' rough lately..
That’s just wrong but it made me laugh
