When you in an arena for a event look up at the ceiling. You will notice those little round discs attached to the ceiling, that is internet, which is what Carrie is referring to. All artists use and the signal is scrambled, so fans don't screw up an artist's performance. Carrie has two boxes on her back, one is for power to mic and other mini-router for arena internet. So Carrie is not limited in terms of range.

As Simon Cowell said about Carrie, an outstanding singer without electronic crap to help her. Like I said if that problem would have happen during her "Blown Away" tour, Carrie would have used her vocal power to compensate for internet going down. This time, her guy who controls it, made sure she didn't.

As Carrie explained on Bobby Bones show, audio track is used for cleaning up the song track, getting rid of glitches in the song. Carrie would rather redo the song than clean it that way. Most artists used it to make them sound better. That is why they sound so different in concert then the recording.
