Acute and obtuse simple determine if the point of the weapon is facing up or down. The high and low right angle are used here simple to show the angle of the blade clearer.

Your leg moves first - is that correct? I'm confused.
General rule of thumb is that the sword moves first then the feet. This is so that you do not step into a thrust or cut and are protected at all times behind your own blade. In regards to the straight leg lunge, its bit of an exception to the rule as to its nature you are not gaining distance until you lean the upper upper torso. But even then your weapon is always leading the way. Hope this helps.

So many lateral movements that are not emphasized in Olympic style fencing..
Tiring work. It takes lots of practice and high endurance to be a swordsman and even then, you'll still get hit.

My dudes: wear masks. Protect your eyes. One mistake by either of you and it’s a lifetime of disability.
Appreciate the concern, we wear masks anytime we are doing something close or committed, the angle of the thrust is well off to the side. Camera angle makes it look closer. But over all yes I agree always mask up.
I know youre probably tired of this question, but where do you get those pants? I've must of bought a dozen 'Paratrooper cargo pants👖'and only 2-3 of them actually fit me(trial&error wrong sizing too small or too big/bungie paracord drawstring frayed/broken cinch)

High hill pants, find them on our website (down the bottom) or on facebook. Socks are basic fencing socks from any sport shop.

Atajo 1 which is a essentially a direct thrust with an over bind, half circle thrust is the second and a full circle thrust at the end (binding and circling around the opponents blade)
