Oh I wish I knew the stain but it was a mix of multiple until I got the color I was after. The sealant however was a minwax wipe-on polyurethane in satin. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful with the first part :/ good luck with your project.

The rug design I made is called an Ocean Plait Mat and it took me around two hours. The most challenging part was removing the excess slack from the finished weave.
