I cramped up at mile 7-8 and after that it was hell, but I don’t know how I did it I still finished the race. CIM is not an easy race like they advertise it.
Man sorry to hear you cramped early on the race! 100% is not a fast course there's a lot of rolling hills. I think what makes it fast is just the amount of fast people that run it .
You fought hard bro and the odds were stacked against you. Just going to make the comeback that much more special!!

Have you used a running plan before? If so, which would you suggest or from who… my goal is to run a sub 1:30 half marathon in 6 months. My current PR is 1:52. Hoping that’s enough time to make some solid progress. Thanks Subscribed..👍🏽
Great question! And yes 6 months I think it’s enough time . Depending on your training schedule. In terms of a running plan I just hired a coach . Probably the best thing you can do as it will take the thinking away and your only focus will be to follow the plan . Shoot me a dm at my instagram @santos_71297 and I can answer more questions there

Any tips on running longer than a mile
Best recommendation is start off slow , you can do run walk . So run for 2 minutes walk a minute for 5 reps . And you will slowly start to build . And just stay consistent

Good work brother. As a side note, I would recommend using kettlebells instead of plates, since it's easier to stack more weight for your pull-ups, although it might cause some clanging.
I appreciate that advice and will definitely do! I notice with the plates it’s harder to control since they are to round and difficult just to get to the bar lol !
