La ce greutati au produsele EDGE, ma indoiesc ca se vor schimba peste noapte.

@tvr9757 momentan cortul Explore One are 70kg, și Horizon One 90kg, iar la marchize Infinity 270 are 28kg, și Shelter Max are 19kg. Din păcate trebuie să facem un compromis între greutate și rezistență, respectiv calitatea materialelor utilizate. Ideea noastră este ca produsele să reziste în timp - mulți ani, nu doar un sezon…

@@edgeoverland Eu mi-as orienta resursele si dezvoltarea catre ceva light, portabil, usor de montat. 90 kg pe plafon e ceva restrictiv dpmdv. Benzina si motorina nu se vor ieftini, ba dimpotriva, cautati sa vedeti un pic in viitor. Totul va fi despre light si ultralight cu rezistanta necesara. Spor si succes!

@tvr9757 vom lucra către asta pe viitor să îmbunătățim și la greutate. Problema este că îndată ce intri în zona materialelor compozite (care oferă rezistență la o greutate mai mică, costurile încep să se dubleze sau chiar tripleze, sau și mai mult - dacă vorbim de fibră de carbon și similare). Ca idee momentan nouă pe toate mașinile ne crește consumul cu 0.5L-1L / 100km, cu cort + marchiză. Și cam asta am auzit și de la clienți până acum.

Yes, if you make a mount for it you can. Although We would recommend paying extra attention in that case to high wind conditions (to have the awning tied down), because there would be a lot of force applied to the awning and to prevent any case bends from happening (270 has a large surface area, so wind can generate a lot of force).

Once you try one of our tents, you'll see that you get even more comfort sleeping in a rooftop tent vs sleeping on the ground. We have thick, dual-compound mattresses, several layers of insulation out of the box in all our tents, and if at any point you wish to upgrade, you can always add an extra topper or modify it to your personal preference.
