Hi, I presume you mean the indoor fireworks at our all-age service this morning, at 9:30am. Sorry I couldn't let you know sooner, I didn't see the comment until this evening. The all-age service in Upton happens at 9:30am every first Sunday of the month.

Hi Laura, thanks for your comment, which I'll have to respectfully and lovingly disagree with. The Lord did indeed declare the 7th day as a day of rest, but he didn't prescribe that we meet for worship on that day, nor sing songs together on that day, nor open the scriptures together on that day, nor teach the bible, nor pray together on that day. Yet Christians have been (rightly) doing those things on a Sunday (and other days) since the 1st century. They stopped doing it on a Saturday almost certainly because of the culture clash their distinctive approach created with their Jewish neighbours. But that's what you'd call the "traditions of man." Deepest regrets that what we do has led you to spend your Sunday judging and rebuking others.

Whilst I don't consider my comment to be either judging or rebuking, please forgive my passion because it just upsets me so much to see millions of people being led astray by church leaders who should know better.

@@laura-loves-god Hi Laura, thanks for you thought. I'm intruiged to understand a bit more of where you're coming from on this. Are you arguing for example, that all followers of Jesus should follow all Old Testament laws? If so, why, if not, why not?

​@@hopechurchfamilyupton2232 From my understanding of the Bible, I believe all Christians should follow Jesus' example. I found this online which says it perfectly: Many people think that going to church occasionally or simply believing in God makes them a Christian. But the Bible presents a different perspective and definition of a Christian. A Christian is someone whose behavior and heart reflects Jesus Christ.

Hi Marjorie, thanks for the feedback. Sometimes we have problems with the audio because of the different equipment being used (A and B have better video-cameras). As you can imagine time constraints and social-distancing rules mean it is difficult to re-film something when it isn't perfect. The best I can recommend is to turn the volume up! - B
