Never do this surgery! it only addresses the cosmetic side of things and not the root cause of the bunion. a Lapiplasty is what should be recommended

My problem with this is the big toe is left misaligned on the right side of where it was cut. It looks like a ledge has been created. See 4:22 😮

How can you put a bone together crooked and with a straight face say it's fixed? I think if the root cause wasnt addressed and structure was compromised. Results will be a weakened foot that looks better but isn't.

What's the advantage of having the toe bones screwed together in an offset manner with jagged 90 degree edges sticking out on either side? Wouldn't that hurt??

In my opinion, Lapidus procedure is better than this Osteotomy - too many guide wires - risky that wires can go through sole of foot.
