I was always a Micro Machines man myself.
You should do a video on the videonow And that's a video player
I remember that! Such tiny screens and speakers haha, Great suggestion 😊
I still play neopets and its actually regaining its magic in a huge way. Its gaining a lot of popularity with the new owners and a lot of returning players are back! I started playing in 1999/2000 and never stopped playing
Every time the Neopets stock market gets mentioned, I remember a classmate who quit the game and gave me his account. He started listing all of his assets on the account, including "three stocks" that he owned. The moment I heard it, I just assumed he meant he bought stocks in three different company at 1000 quantity each, the maximum quantity possible, because why else would he feel the need to mention it otherwise? I went home, logged onto his account, and saw his literal three stocks in a single company, each worth at around 20~50NP (I can't remember the exact number but it's an insignificant figure). I didn't bother to do anything with those three stocks.
I had the red boombox with *NSYNC bye bye and Britany’s stronger and the radio that barely picked up a station.
High-key the boomboxes were and still are my favorite. There's just something about them that's so unique and cool, reminiscent of the days of ghetto blasters walking down the block haha 😂
And also what are you gonna cover next
Not 1000% sure, only time will tell I guess 🥳 maybe a holiday episode
Thanks for Asking Also I don't have A 1000. subscribers As well.

Thanks Also I Subscribe❤
They were awful, we called them Shit Clips for a reason. Good video though.
I rmemeber this. I feel old.
Not old, just more leveled up than some people 😎😎
check your bed tonight
A furby may be lurking
i never stoped playing other then breef perioud where i had no internet. my guild is amazing i wasent into the socialaspect back them but my pets never go hungy ...anymore
That's so amazing! A sense of community is truly missing from modern societies and so it's so amazing for your mental health to have a group of like minded people or those who have similar hobbies to be able to communicate with often. Happy for you!
@@RetroVaultMedias thanks as an adult a few years back i foud my guild and they are the best peeps i have. irl people are ehh but my guldies are amazing
SAME!! I started playing in 1999/2000s stopped playing when I was 16-18 then got back into it and have been into it playing ever since! ^^ Honestly this year has been AMAZING for the growth of the website! I no longer feel like its going to shut down any day now.
remember this)
I'm sure some who were Terrified by it would wish otherwise hahaha
Just subscribed to your channel. I remember the Tiger handhelds. I had a few of these when I was a kid, in particular, game shows, which you unfortunately neglected to mention. In particular, I had Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Family Feud, The Price is Right and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. I should consider buying them again and mentioning them on my channel.
That would be a swell idea! They even have the new releases of the games by Hasbro who merged with them in '98. Subbed back, I'll be waiting for your vid 😊🤞
You should do a video on the game boy camera
Idk if anyone can beat AVGN rotating his SNES with a super game boy to snap a selfie 🤣🤣🤣
I just want to record that I was here for the start. You make some really great videos, and I hope you keep it up. Cheers from Scotland. Algo boost baby!
Also the the original furby sensor has a solar component, so it can Detect light., so sometimes that gives it power but not enough, so it makes furby give poor quality noises. Which sounds haunting.
Awesome and yet still creepy 🤣
Glad they finally listened and gave the furbys facemasks to put on at night haha 🤣 I couldn't imagine hearing one wail at 3AM
WOW!!! Talk about a sales jump in just a years time!!!!
If only my feet picture business was that successful! Hahaha jkjkjk
I was a kid who got a Game Boy for Christmas when I was young and always thought that the Tiger games looked like trash. Why play an awful version of Mega Man 2 when I could play the real thing on an NES?
Tiger handhelds used to sell where i live under the brand of "TecToy", that was the local company also in charge of bring SEGA products to us here in Brazil, like MegaDrive/Genesis and Master System content in the early 90ies. I had a Paperboy "mini game" (as we called it) and it was my first and only way to play a video game out of my home for many years beside the cheap Tetris clones, and i have many fond memories of it. Only when the Pokemon fever came and people started to import GameBoys we got a sight of what really a portable console could be.
I’ve been trying to find a Virtual Boy at a reasonable price for years, because it’s the only Nintendo console I don’t own, without much success.
I guess if you want a 90s console with red, downgraded graphics there's always the r-zone too hahaha
I miss my tiger electronics and other cheap lil handhelds. HELL I even had the little fillable "pinball" handhelds that used water to just push little rings or small balls into pachinko like platforms. Good times ^<^
I had Street Fighter 2 and later on, Toy Story; I kinda enjoyed Toy Story because it didn't try to be complex or modern like most Tiger games (you're Woody running and you gotta "rescue" certain toys when they pop up, avoid the RC car, and you win the level by rescuing Buzz)
I feel like the more si.plistic games would have been better. The more complex and high speed, the more confusing they got. Like the racing games on the R-zone. It was way above its capabilities and ended up not reading and playing well *Edit for spelling
Your way off with the 1995 date you mentioned at 2:39. The Tiger LCD games started around 1988, Mostly as a response to Nintendo's Game and Watch Series. The Batman game you showed was kinda of a clue as it clearly said 1989 on the front.
Woah thanks for the call out! You rock! I'll make sure to be more careful next time!
To be fair some of them were actually decent. I actually have fond memories of the first Sonic game based on it actually being playable and having music, however I was ultra disappointed with Sonic 2 where they were not able to match or improve. Then again it’s only so much you can do with limited tech. Another good memory was Double Dragon 3 which some would argue may have been better than the GameBoy version and definitely better than Double Dragon 1 on the Atari 2600. Yes a home console version of a game exists that is worse than the Tiger LCD version.
Tiger 🐅 electronic games were everywhere in the 90's. I had a few of them growing up. My favorite was Street Fighter 2 😊
I never got to play the tiger version but absolutely LOVED playing street fighter on the Genesis when i was younger. It was like the toned down version of MK hahaha. I also remember tekken, such cool fighting games
@RetroVaultMedias The Tiger 🐅 games were pretty basic. That's why they were only $20 new. But growing up I had a few. I didn't get a console until Super Nintendo. My uncle bought it for me for Christmas 🎄 My parents didn't really have the money for game consoles and games. 😄
love it, this channel's cool, keep going! (i had the mortal kombat one i was SO stoked when i was a kid)
Thanks a ton! The nortal Kombat one looked awesome haha my parents were the "oh its rated M so you can't play it" so I had to go back as an adult and pay top tier to get a Genesis and the original kombats haha thanks mom, you cost me a lot of money! Haha
My aunt was a toy engineer for a toy manufacturer in Hong Kong. That company makes literally half of the mainstream toys for most major brands, including Hasbro, Kenner, Mega blocks, etc. They also made Tyco remote control cars and countless others I just cannot recall. I would receive endless boxes full of toys from my aunt that she took from the factory. Ever since I was born, I had been receiving toys from my aunt, so I never really appreciated how lucky I was getting so much toys from her until I realized most kids didn't have anywhere as much toys as I had. I received so much toys from my aunt that my mom had to give most of them away to other people's kids. In the late 90's I sold most of them on eBay for fairly good prices. I wished I kept many of those toys I sold because many of them are impossible to find or are priceless. I still have about 20 Tiger games. They were terrible, but also extremely fun as a kid.
Wow! Your childhood was every kids dream and every collectors envy! I moved a lot so all my toys as a child god downsized put for moves a lot. Do you have any of the original Kenner dolls? I think my dad may still have some of those as he was a star wars but and never let me touch them hahaha
@@RetroVaultMedias Yeah, I received a lot of Kenner dolls and other girl toys. I had genuine sailor moon action figures and countless Batman action figures as well as spiderman toys. I also had a lot of Ghost Busters toys that are now worth a lot of money had my mom not threw them away. Ninja turtles action figures and playsets were my favorite, but I sold those on eBay back in 1999!!! I am starting to collect many of the toys I had when I was a kid and toys that I wanted, but never had the chance to buy!!!
I had Jurassic Park. I never asked for one again.
The megafauna flop haha
I had a game that involved a caveman fighting dinosaurs. It died in a hot car.
Batteries tend to hate extreme temps. I remember my kid had every toy die when we had a cold front and the power went out. Expensive stuff haja
I think it's got a plot going on right now?? I can't be bothered to check lol. Maybe I'm just too old now, but it's really not the same anymore. I liked collecting avatars like their were achivos, and trophies, and did the battledome, although all the magic of it is in the past... that said, I still log on all the time to check on my stocks, every few days or weeks, and to look at all the trophies I got, gawk at how many years I've been playing (23, jfc), and look at my bank deposit balance (50m, but sadly that's not worth that much in the current NP economy XD)
Youre def not too old! 98% of the players are in their 30s! there are some older even! I recomend getting more into the community, art, rp, boards and guilds! Even joining a discord server. ^^
I wish i still had all mine
They seem to run around the same price on eBay as they were when they were first sold. Except the sealed ones (yikes)
Wow, this was a well put together video. Surprising to see 48 subs (49 now). Good luck for the future, you got the skills. You came up on my home page recommendations, here's hoping a lot more see it soon. Also, I'm hoping a Tamagotchi video is in your plans? I'm off to check out your POGs video. I had a Tiger handheld, might not have been an official one but it was TMNT and based on the underwater level from the NES game. A tough game!
I always use to press the button that basically reset the game and show all the different sprites at once cause i thought it looked neat i was a dumb kid
Hey it may have given you further insight into possible additional moves or directionality that you wouldn't have otherwise thought of. So let's just say you were doing top tier gamer research
I was born in the 80's and I support this channel! 👍
Totally tubular broseph! Appreciate the support!
Kazaam
this is the video quality of a much bigger youtuber, and i entirely support it
The biggest tell is mic quality, every single time
I started collecting them again a few years back, great times!
Not a horrific price for the new ones even, I kind of want ones to make my children deal with the frustration beeping and limited gameplay haha
insanely well produced video, you're gonna blow up soon for sure lol
Thank you that means a lot!
Crap.
I had the wwf wrestling watch... Playing a game on a watch was mindblowing to my 5 year old brain... But I do remember that it was easy for the first couple of wrestlers then I got super difficult where it wouldn't even let you get a move in no matter how hard you tried
The limitations on visability with action games sure left a lot of what happens next up to the imagination and guesswork than anything, kinda like the r-zone ports (especially the racing one). I'm sure it had you wrestling with the choice to pick it back up again or not 😂
love the video you did a amazing job i laughed so many damn times
Yay thank you! Hope to see you in the comments of future videos! And there are other episodes on the channel too if you find yourself looking for another trip into the retro vault!
@@RetroVaultMedias i for sure subed youll see me
Me in the 80's: ''Hey this is fun'' 5 minutes later: ''This is absolute garbage'' *Donkey Kong and other of those crappy handhelds I begged for, rotting in the closet for years
So much e-waste. They were like burner phones but for gaming. Just do the dirty of what I need done with it and then toss it to the side, forgetting it's existance
I also liked having my Tiger games just for the art featured on it. I think sometimes we overlook what it was like back in the day to have the time to sit and analyze the art and letting our imagination run with it. Ninja Gaiden was my favorite Tiger game. I was about 5 years old in Texas and my mom told me there was a tornado coming and I had only a couple minutes to grab anything I cared about so I got my blanket and Ninja Gaiden Tiger game and jumped into her Mustang. I still have it today. Luckily the tornado didn't hit our house so the rest of my game collection was fine.
Wow thanks for sharing your story 😊 such a vivid memory that will always live with you, these are the important moments in life, no matter how terrifying they may seem at the time, they forever live in our hearts and minds. Thanks again for sharing!
Ahhhh those were the good old days
Hahaha your username is beyond fantastic 😂
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
about to watch all your other videos after this one brb
Yayyyy ❤
Being born in 2000, I just missed the mark for most of the fun stuff. The only virtual pet I had was a My Meeba in 2008.
I don't remember those at all! I do remember a sort of similar product called pixel chix that my younger siblings had though, super high tech stuff for the time! Haba
love your content!! I remember going to scholastic book fairs before my back started hurting and I would beg my parents to buy me some books or toys without realizing how overpriced they were 🥲 (would love to see a video on nickelodeon flash games or special DVD sets, I had the blues clues one!)
My childhood was a little sadder. I always remember circling what I wanted but don't remember too many times of going there to buy stuff. That's what adult money is for now! Haha 😂
amazing content!
Thank you that means a lot! ❤
