Thank you very much for your question. 😊 Our PAFnow visuals require the usage of an Event Log, which can be created using a .csv-file including the required event data with case identifier, activity name and timestamp information. You could export your data from MS Access to MS Excel to then convert it into a .csv-file. Though you might need to do some clean-up and preparation of your data before being able to use it, to ensure sufficient data quality. If you have any further question, we are happy to help you. @uday kiran Thank you very much for your feedback. :) Great to hear that you find our video useful. You can start with a single user Power BI Desktop License to be able to use PAFnow. Key fields in general are: a unique identifier that is shared between all process steps related to a specific case, an activity name that describes the process step conducted and a timestamp to be able to re-create the specific order of steps conducted in the case. Please look at pafnow.com/blog/process-mining-101-what-is-process-mining/ for more information. This will already allow you to discover how your processes really go in your company and where bottlenecks and improvement potentials lay. Of course, you can add any additional data that is logged for your case or each of the activities, e.g., resource conducting an activity. This will enrich your process visualizations and give you even more and more specific insights. Thanks for the great feedback. Really appreciated. The power of PAFnow and Process Mining is the ability to combine data from different sources (and tables) to one Event Log. Through this, you can analyze and improve end-to-end processes across systems and departments. We have done this couple of times e.g for clients using SAP data combined with data from different sources, such as workflow systems, SRM or Ariba. But you are right, someone has to join the data from different sources before you can start your process mining journey. If you wish, feel free to contact our PAF office for best practices and advise.
