This is a tip a stumbled across one day looking for some quick cheap snacks while out shopping. We were using @guesthollow World Geography at the time, and these fit in perfectly with it. Since most areas have Dollar Trees I thought we would share. This was just from one store.

Flip Through/Review Around The World in 100 Years Good For Homeschool In The Woods & Thinking Tree
The boys are working hard while your lazy ass films them. Typical woman
What fine young men, Kelly. You and Gary must be proud. I enjoy seeing them in the videos.
@@cindyinpcola Thank you 😊 We are very proud of them. They have grown up so fast. They’re a huge help to me.
A wooden or pvc pole would be better, the metal pole gets pretty heavy.
@@growyourownfood7814 It was beginning to get dark & was sprinkling, so we were just try’s to get the few that were left.
Loving this!!! What a GREAT IDEA!!!!
Thank you 😊 Your wonderful curriculum opened up a whole new world of food for my guys. The youngest hasn’t actually been through the class but has loved the eating! 🤣
I love blackberries! Jams and cobbler yum! I would love to see a blackberry cobbler video Kelly!
I too love blackberry jelly. I will do a video on jelly and a cobbler when they’re ready this spring.
Yum! I need to get some blackberries ❤
They make such a good garden snack! I recommend getting thornless ones like we have. Those thorns will get ya.
Great harvest! 💛
Now I need to process them.
The three varieties of thornless blackberries we have are PrimeArk Freedom, Sweetie Pie, and Ponca. PrimeArk Freedom are the biggest berries, but I like the taste of Ponca and Sweetie Pie better.
Thank you ❤️
I use a fruit picker with basket to get the higher fruit.
I watched your video and was like, so that’s how they did it!
Yay!
Thank you 😊 I’m so bad about putting things off.
Woohoo! Glad you got it harvested 🌱
I got half of it but what was rest has survived the cold!
@ that’s awesome that it survived 🥳
@NicoleSmithGardening I was so surprised but happy! 😃
The white one was so cute 😢
@@cindyinpcola I agree, was so sad when Gary came in and told me.
There’re so cute 🐣🐣🐣
Thanks ❤️ I just love them at this stage.
I would like to try this one day. Happy New year! 💗☺️
@@seasonsofwonder you ought to! It is so rewarding to see your labors all lined up. I started out doing small things & then branched out.
Hi friend! Happy new year! I love your dehydrator by the way. I haven’t tried dehydrating fruit and veggies yet. My husband uses it for making beef jerky. It looks so good though!🤍
Hello! Happy New Year! Thank you, my husband got it for me for Christmas a couple of yrs ago. My son loves to make beef jerky in it too. I use it for all kinds of fruits and veggies. It is great for granola too.
Yes , adorable ! I want to hug it and sqeeze it and kiss it and call it Fred .
@@Hayden.tablet love it! I will tell Fred he is loved.🥰
Did she hatch these out herself?
Yes Ma’am. She actually had them under the neighbors shed, we were wondering how we’d get her home. 🤦♀️ Thankfully, she came back to the run on her own with them.
Great looking cauliflower! Happy New Year 🎆
Thank you 😊 ❤️ I’m so proud of it! 🤣 Happy New Year 🎆 🎊 Hope you have a great and bountiful 2025.
They are so cute!
I love watching them following their mamma around & hear her talk to them.
Never attempted to do anything like this before but looks so good
Thank you 😊 I had never dehydrated the zest or ginger before but it turned out pretty well. I have done the lemons in the steam juicer before, my husband suggested it a couple of yrs ago.
Started watching Gary’s video and as soon as you said you just uploaded a lemon video, I went straight over here :D Does steaming affect the taste? Love that you got ginger from Gary’s plants. Super envious of your garden!
@@schmeebot7903 Thank you ❤️😊 No it doesn’t affect the taste, just the color. I also used the ginger leaves & dehydrated for tea. 🫖
Great way to preserve all those lemons and zest!
I had never done the zest before but someone on IG asked if I did anything with it & got me to thinking.🤔 That is expensive in the stores & we do use it for baking….
That Steamer would make a great Christmas or Valentine present. Trust me.
Well, I have enjoyed mine for many years now. ❤️
Candied ginger sounds wonderful! Let us know how that turns out. We had temps get down to 30 last night and the morning before. My tomatoes suffered tip damage and the were covered up. Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving ❤
@@cindyinpcola I thinking of doing a video on it. I dehydrated the leaves last night and they smell wonderful. Thankfully it didn’t get as cold as they thought. We had a great Thanksgiving, our oldest sons came home for a few days. Love it when they’re all together. Hope Y’all had a great one too. ❤️
For those that are curious, predicted to get down to 32 degrees last night. This morning they showed it got down to 39 degrees. Only 7 degrees off.
So exciting. May you enjoy learning macrame 🙌☺️💖💖
Thank you. ❤️ I am hoping it will be relaxing like crochet is for me.
Great vid ❤❤❤❤
Thank you!❤️ I love learning new things and look forward to this.
Thank you for making this wonderful video of our Macrame Kit ❤🎉
@@hillhjem Thank you! I will start the keychain soon!❤️
@@homeschoolingabridged2219 oo yay! Let me know what you think of it or if you have any questions.
@ I will be sure to ❤️
Wonderful harvest. Happy gardening. The pepper looks so tasty and fresh. Like 7. New subs.
Thank you! They were great in the recipe and just enough. ❤️
This looks like a great resource
@@goingtheextramile0 It is. It really helped my youngest to stop dreading math.
great to see
Looking forward to learning something new.
Love it!
@@NicoleSmithGardening it was fun watching them going after it completely in opposite ways. The oldest was methodically chipping , scraping, & brushing away. The youngest drilled a hole with his plastic pick, broke the brick , & beat the two pieces together. 😜🤣🤦♀️
@@homeschoolingabridged2219 😂
Fun! 🙌☺️
@@seasonsofwonder they had a blast doing it. 😊
@@homeschoolingabridged2219 how lovely! 💖☺️
Hey sweet mama! Just subscribed to your channel. Really enjoyed seeing this process. Would love to do his one day! 🙏☺️💖
Thank you so much!! 😊 It is pretty easy to do once the apples are prepped. It usually isn’t that messy. 😂
That filling looks delicious! Maybe Gary will get some soon!
@@cindyinpcola Maybe 🤔 *as the camera man and I eat it from the jar for breakfast * Seriously, I’ll make him something. 😊
nice!
@@goingtheextramile0 Thank you. Turned out to just be enough.
The only problem I see is the apple pie filling taste so good that the pie never actually gets made. That is what happened with the peaches. Still no cobbler for the spouse.
🤣🤣🤣 I can see about that problem. ❤️
Oh wow, this is so neat! I’m actually very interested in canning. I’ve been wanting to do it. It’s so much healthier to have fresh canned ingredients. I can imagine how delicious that smells.🩷
@@Sunnyinthesuburbs It smells incredible. While it was cooking I just kept going by and sniffing. 🤣 I love to can and intend on doing more videos on it. Hopefully next time I won’t spill all over the kitchen floor. 🤦♀️
This is great to see!
@@goingtheextramile0 Thank you 😊. It was quite a day. 🤣
Hi Kelly! Even though I don’t eat onions it was a cool video. I really like seeing you have the family in too! Is that Gary’s cameraman? He’s been doing a great job if so 👏
Yes it is! He’s my right hand man. I only like cooked onions, can’t stand them raw. I love doing ones with the kids because you never know what they might say or do! 🤣
Hi, Kelly! 👋 Nice looking peppers 🌶️ ❤
@@NicoleSmithGardening thanks ❤️ they only look this good because of Gary. 😂
@@homeschoolingabridged2219 😆
The un-named variety of micro dwarf tomato is Rosy Finch. The gallon containers is what the plants will be grown in. Plants only get up to 12 inches tall and are pretty productive. Will bring inside when temperatures get into the lower 40's/upper thirties.
Thank you, my memory just isn’t what it used to be.
Good to see you looking so good. I’ve got some good Brandywine and Aunt Ruby German Green tomatoes finally making. After June they stopped making because of the heat. I managed to keep them alive all summer! I’m sure y’all’s are going to taste great 😊
@@cindyinpcola thank you 😊 I am glad yours are still alive. All the ones we did earlier have not. I am looking forward to fresh tomatoes 🍅.
Very cool!
We had a lot of fun showing friends this one.
Go, fall tomato! Nice to see that you encourage the side shoots. Our tomatoes are turning ripe in stride here, just as plants are dying. I'm going to experiment with cuttings for our fall tomatoes. Your wife is lovely. Does cameraman get compensated for having to hang with his parents? :D
😊 I am cheering the little guy along too! I miss fresh tomatoes 🍅 already. Gary does an amazing job in the garden, if left to me all the plants would wither away.
@@homeschoolingabridged2219 Not sure how I managed to leave the comment on this video. I subscribed to your channel and thought I hopped back to Gary's video :D Thank you for responding.
I kind of figured that was what happened. Thank you for subscribing.
