Awesome lesson! Your explanations helped me a lot! Any chance you could do a lesson on Pentagram's "Livin' in a Ram's Head" please? ruclips.net/video/CZCdH90txnY/видео.html
I play it on my acoustic thanks great lesson
@@Vboost7000rpm glad it helped you.
Nice 👍👍
🙏
tks , cool video , i was hoping you would show the chord he uses as he sings , he chops the strings like a double stop , i think its just the chord C with 3 notes i am not sure.
@@brbas33 glad you got something out of it! I’ll check out the part you have mentioned. Probably triads and such of c or c7
Great video I’ve been playing this song for quite a while, and I needed to know the extra details like you were showing here in the video. Thank you for posting this.
@@nickefgen9219 thanks so much for your positive comments. Glad you got something out of it. Keep picking!
Great video, how did you get that tone ?
It’s just a small crate practice amp nothing special. Maybe a little bite on it. Not overly distorted is the trick. Glad you dig it! Thanks for taking the time.
Fantastic. The way Leslie played it depended on the amount of snow in the atmosphere. Lol
🤣
Lo tenían a turco garcia ja
Awesome 👍🏼 So many online lessons are for the solo parts but this is exactly the lesson I was needing. THANK YOU
So glad you got something out of it. A lot of what’s on this channel is reference material for students that study with me . Therefore not all the content is greatly detailed. Glad you dig the video and thanks for your comment! Keep picking!

what the point of targeting 4th when using phrygiant scale?
To sometimes ease the tension or lead to something. Just follow your flow .
But dominant chord is supposed to build tension not to resolve@@atone440
Correct.Moving towards something. These are just off the cuff examples of some of those sounds using the notes in the scale . Just jamming some examples to reference the notes in the whole scale. In an actual song more particular choices would be targeted. Just demonstrating the range of the scale here is all. Keep picking!
So u don't think about the note choice during improv? That's what you're trying to say?@@atone440
Another thing to note is sometimes this is dominant in theory only. In a Bach rock type situation the E is actually sounding more tonic.so this scale has a mood obviously. So the scale accommodates. Its all about the complete progression that dictates resolution.
Awesome!
Great tutorial 👍👍🎸🎸

Glad you got something out of it!
Whew!
Leslie was such a legend
Great. Thank you. ~ you made that very easy to follow and explaining some of what Hes doing. I play it on my acoustic but with chords, it's on my Leslie West playlist now, with Leslie teaching it there too. ...I will have to try it on electric.
Stop dyeing yer hair. You Madonna or somethin’?! 🤌
this was obviously the "inspiration" for Miss Misery by Nazareth

Very nice tutorial . Thanks.
Great lesson!
Glad you guys are getting something out of this. Most of the videos are just quick references to some lessons so they might be a little vague to some folks. It’s just a supplement for students. Thanks so much for the nice comment
Well done neighbor. Great lesson. Thanks.
