A Week of Catsitting Jack
In my early days as an animal communicator, I practiced my new craft on animals that belonged to friends. One such animal was Jack the cat. Jack showed me where I needed more trust and practice, and what it means when a cat says "Nope. Not ready to come in yet." We forged a new depth of trust and I learned how to accept the gift of time and solitude as I grappled with doubt and anxiety.

Amazing! So moving...I am always blown away by how deeply animals and plants know our blind spots and try to help us with them. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible gift with us. May I make one suggestion in how you deliver this very important and moving message...is to call animals "them" or "they" instead of "it"? It's easy for me to forget because our language isn't set up for this. But I think this can help foster a more respectful relationship with our animal kin for those who don't yet have one. YES. It was a miracle. I'm so grateful. He was in a home with his 3 brothers though... not the whole clutch. I still have him and his brother Striker. Everyone else went to loving homes. Thank you for showing up for me during that hard time.

It's hard to understand kissing an animal you will send to a slaughterhouse
My older kittie has become fearful of her cat dad (me) since i brought home a new 4 month kitten last night. It's supposed to be only a test period for a few days or a week. She has hissed bitten and clawed at me, my Maia .'I even found myself reacting like an angry cat myself. I was in contact with another animal communicator 4 months after I got Maia 2 years ago she seemed to be interested in getting a playmate back then. . Now, she seems to hate me since her little brother (from the same mother) came last night. My left hand is all bitten and clawed up by Maia. I may even have made the mistake of mirroring her anger, and hissed back like a papa lion. I'm afraid I have lost her trust forever. PLEASE HELP!

Beautiful creature and lovely, compassionate owners.
I find this more difficult if I'm emotionally involved/invested with an animal I'm bonded to. Right now trying to figure out what to do with my cat who's had a serious fungal infection for 1.5 years. She's seeing a vet for over a year and on allopathic meds the entire time, and homeopathic remedies more recently. She is still struggling to breathe and the conventional meds are hard on her system, she has to be on such a high dose to even make an impact... I want to know what SHE wants..... keep fighting, let her be, euthanize?

Nope....just mirror animal behaviour. I talk to most animals....i have an army of squirrels crows magpies cats dogs and a few others. I dont be condescending animals like this woman.
