Amazing! Thank you! What an inspiration!
Gracias! how would you do this? i.pinimg.com/736x/21/a6/e4/21a6e4c4df2be36d9dacd8d8c1b65eda.jpg
Thank you for this beautifully done video ! I learned so much watching this. Captivated from start to finish !
Dużo osób pyta gdzie można kupić taką maszynkę do rysowania linii a tu zero odpowiedzi 😑
Look up Ukrainian Gift Shop on line. It is in the US but they may ship internationally. They carry these egg lathes.
@@susanb5640thank you that helped a lot. I found also some in amazon. Currently doing research and reading to learn more. I think I’m on the verge of trying this. It is BEAUTIFUL! And feels calming too.
Will the pencil marks show on the finished egg?
That's what I was wondering. I've drawn lines on eggs before doing Ukrainian egg dyeing, and I usually can't get them off because of the thin layer of wax that's on the egg by the end
Of all the eggs I’ve made I’d say one in 12 has pencil marks. Most of the lines come off when I wipe the melted wax off.
Wo kann ich so ein Gerät kaufen?❤
amazon
how do you call a device that holds egg and where to get it?
Google "Egg Lathe"
It is called an egg lathe. Ukrainian Gift Shop carries them. They have a website.
Thank you so much for explaining this technique!!!!
beautiful. I can’t understand why your videos are not more widely seen and appreciated. They are all quite some time ago. Have you given up????
Glad you like them!
Thank you . @dopapier . Still creating eggs and a few videos just haven’t posted on RUclips in awhile .
I have used the drain holes to suck in a thin solution of Plaster of Paris, turning the egg to coat the inside as evenly as possible. Letting slightly more settle in one area makes that a balancing base and it fills the drain hole, which can be sanded. You produce lovely designs. How about producing another video?
wo kann ich dieses Werkzeug kaufen?

Hi, where can I find this box? Thank
I’m in awe of your eggs!
Wow. Beautiful ❤
Fantasia !!!!
At 1:25 is that white colored wax
Hi Celia , yes . I color my own beeswax .
Really stunning work!!
From where I can buy this tools for egg ostrich drawing
Beautiful! I am curious as to the cleaner that you used. Do you have suggestions for this?
When using sand paper section freehand alway coated the back with shipping tape or even masking tape. Your paper will last 10x longer!
Is that how you get black lines? Dye black first then use the mrs Meyers?
Hello I live in Brazil, where can I buy this egg divider grid? Thanks

Шедевр!
Super🎉!!!
Thank you! My jaw dropped to the floor to know that the top to bottom lines could be made so precisely and easily!
Nice informative video! How can you know for sure that there is no tiny hole around the wax? 😬 I’ll try, thanks x video.
Beautiful egg and very well made video.
Incredible.
I am really enjoying your art, Mark. The stained glass designs are just remarkable and I want to try this as well. The wax you are applying on the black egg looks opaque so it is easy to identify. Are you using a pure white beeswax for this, or do you have another formula? Any help would be appreciated very much. Thanks
I love watching your videos I just wish they were longer
Is that Kevin the rhea from urban rescue ranch?
No, that’s Kevin the rhea from berea .
Thank you so much for these videos! I’ve just gotten an e-kistka after a few years of making pysanky & your videos are helping me really improve my work!
thank you ☺️
Me Is 1st C.
So I have been giving sanding a try but I don't think I am sanding long enough. However, I am not sure how to tell when I have gone long enough. Egg feels really smooth but then when I dye it the first time, I can see the imperfections that I probably should have sanded off. Any suggestions?
Chris, lately I've been doing a "wet" sanding - dipping the egg in water first then when the shell dust/sludge is building up on the shell , keeping the egg free from the wet dust. I usually sand about 5 min. with each grit - spending a little more time with my last grit (usually a 400) but, i will hold the egg up to a good light source - you can see your progress that way but, it's important really to keep turning/rotating your egg while sanding and again holding the egg up to a light.
mark e malachowski that is really helpful. Thank you for explaining. I could totally see how the wet sanding would help see the progress. I will try some other grits of sandpaper as well.
Take a pencil and scribble over the egg lightly - sand when all the pencil lines are gone the surface should be sanded. Un sure do it twice!
Absolutely wonderful video -
As beautiful as ever! Your work is so impressive, I enjoy it very much.
Magical!
That was excellent Mark. Thanks.
My favorite part of the process ☺️
Wunderschön!
Wonderful.....thank you!
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us.
Где можно заказать такой станок?
When you say batik what dyes are you using?
Artiefrog , they are aniline dyes . I mostly use The Ukrainian Gift Shop dyes - those are specifically for pysanky but, I say batik because I follow the same wax resist process as the batik method of dyeing . I can’t really call the eggs I do pysanky because my egg designs and colors are very non traditional.
mark e malachowski thank you
Thanks Mark! that was fantastic! I have used mine just a few times, but now I will use it alot!
Great video
sensational!
