Is this still a legacy?
The EF381SC is the current version and it is considered a legacy model.
does anyone know the difference between the Takamine "ef381C" and "ef381SC"?
I'm not 100% sure, but the best I've been able to tell it seems Takamine often changes the suffix letters slightly when re-releasing an older model.

The pinblock has shrunk due to drying out most likely, making the tuning pin loose so it won't hold a tune. The tuning hammer shouldn't jump up when the technician lets go of it. If you listen carefully you can hear the pitch drop significantly when the hammer moves.
