I grow native Iris , we call it stink Iris here , because the flower's smell bad . But l love it for the red berries in winter.
Yes these ones are called the roast beef plant because they dont smell good!
Where are your planters from? I have 2 200 year old olive trees that I need to put in barrels like those but confused about the size :)
Hi, my barrel is 1m in diameter and 50cm deep, I ordered it online and the company cut the bottom out for me. Hope this helps.

Hey Katy, just come across your channels and have been binge watching the videos. I'm a surveyor by trade. Just to point out that it looks like the wall behind your fountain has been repointed with cement which has caused all of the faces of the bricks to blow. It should have been repointed in lime which lets the bricks breath. Older bricks cannot tolerate cement as they were fired at lower temperatures and are softer. I'd recommend raking the cement out by hand and reponting it with lime asap to reduce any further damage. You can phone a lime manufacturer for advice on the mix (which I would recommend) or use a NHL 3.5 mix. Hope this helps

I just got few of hidcote lavender this week . Any recommendation where to plant or how to prepare the soil to put it on the ground ? . Yours are very beautiful!
Hi there, sorry for the late reply, i have been on vacation. Hidcote lavender needs to be in a south facing location with good drainage, I add grit to the soil to aid drainage. Katy
