❤❤❤
The process and evolution of the piece is artful in itself - I can't figure out if the end product was the goal all along, and the changes were an intentional artistic part of the process or whether the end goal changed during the journey - I love that the ability to watch from beginning to end can showcase this process and growth of a piece and it's so satisfying. Fantastic!
@katherinecampbell4837 thankyou so much... I almost always start with a very basic idea of a character and let it evolve as I go but this was the first time I had gone in completely unprepared and just worked the charcoal around until I had something and then let everything else fall into place as I went...as you may have seen I changed so much as I progressed because I either thought it didn't look right or I suddenly saw a different path in my mind but only because I had already tried something and decided it didn't look quite like I had hoped. I have always enjoyed the journey far more than the final result...getting lost in drawings or paintings is a feeling like nothing else and when I finish them, I have the daunting task of trying to start again in the hopes that the next piece will turn out OK.
@@SEATONARTWORKS He decayed and lost muscle and flesh before our eyes - it was a macabre feast for the eyes! I hope wherever this piece ends up, they get to watch this morphing process!
shit! felt like i just watched a complete horror movie
@brookzera218 thankyou.
How have I not seen your channel before? You're pumping out some great stuff. I am subscribing right now, and about to binge your Witcher series.
@airbrushdungeon thankyou very much...for a long time my channel was quite stagnant...I had kind of neglected RUclips a bit but now I am trying to push into it a bit more but I am still finding it a bit hard to dedicate time to editing videos between full time work, a 2 year old and trying to keep the family happy by doing my part in the house maintenance😂😂...it's a very fine line lol. I appreciate the follow and hope to get more content up and even get back yo airbrushing.
I'm gonna start this from the beginning. This is a great series to remind me how much I suck.
@airbrushdungeon thankyou, I hope you find something useful in the videos. I uploaded these in the hope someone might find them useful...I know Ihave learned a great deal from others.
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮I want to learn too 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Thank you for sharing !
@@Mrcloclo02 thanks for watching.

@@Dragon-slayer-_-_-_-_-001 thankyou
@@SEATONARTWORKS no problem mate I only said the truth
Maybe more shadows on the mount 🤔
@MairaPedroniArt yeah I didn't quite finish it but may come back to it one day and refine it....needs alot more work I reckon.
I’m pretty damn happy with it even if you aren’t. Amazing.
@@zac8603 Thankyou
The layering? The shading??? Amazing! ❤
@@vaxshin Thankyou
Super cool!
@@SketchbookTimeMachine Thankyou
11/10. Perfect
@@DippedInInk thankyou
This is absolutely incredible! I can’t believe you’re so underrated, you deserve so much more.
Thankyou, I have been relatively inactive on RUclips but trying to see if I can push into it a bit more and see where it goes. It's comments like this that make the effort worthwhile so thankyou very much.
That’s some crazy looking stuff, looks more than professional
@guywithhats7306 thankyou very much,😁 I am by no means a professional though.
@@SEATONARTWORKS either way it looks impossible to recreate and you did a phenomenal job
@@guywithhats7306 I really appreciate that, thankyou

Thankyou very much
Wow......
Nice!
Thankyou very much.
It's a shame that the RUclips algorithm doesn't push your content up front. This kind of art takes effort and not too many people want to put any effort into creating these days. You got my subscription.
Thankyou, also I don't seem to get notifications for comments so I am sorry it has taken so long to reply. Thankyou for watching...I am wanting to upload more but between doing the actual artwork and then editing with a full time job and a toddler in the house it gets kind of hard to find time.
@@SEATONARTWORKS No worries.
As usual, Few fancy moves with the pencil and then speed drawing. just a show.
I mean...if you want to sit and watch a 3 hour video in real time I can do those but nobodies got time for that. Thanks for watching though...means alot.
Also I appreciate you commending me on the fancy moves...I didn't place much stock in them at the time so it's great to know I was able to mesmerize someone. I will keep practicing those to try and wow you even more next time.....stay tuned champ.
I subscribed to your channel
Thankyou
great work
Thankyou very much
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Have you considered making prints? I'd certainly buy one.
Thankyou, I did do a run of prints for this and have a couple left.

Incroyable 👏 🖤
Thankyou
Brilliantly done. Would not expect anything less.
Thankyou very much😁😁
Tell you what joh, this I an absolutely beautiful painting mate. I really can't believe you've had so little response from it I really can't. You're such a talented artist.
Thankyou very much @David Craig. I think there is probably just too many of these videos and they are probably far too long to hold most people's attention. I have never really been that bothered about getting heaps of views because this has helped some people out and that's all that really matters. I didn't paint the original picture, I used a few different references and merged them and added some bits of my own to change it up a bit. I appreciate your comment though and that's what makes these videos worthwhile. I have had a big move and some big family changes so I have been really inactive but I am slowly getting everything back together again to get back into doing more art and hopefully more videos but I am really searching for time at the moment.
@@SEATONARTWORKS totally understand John and sincerely hope everything works out for you. I'm only just starting out airbrushing so watching your "art" inspires me no end. I really hope to see more of your work in the future but hopefully you'll get things fixed in your personal life. A huge congrats John on some absolutely stunning work, I can only strive to produce work like yours.
Wow!
this video is going to come in real handy, im working on some chainmail on my next project. thanks for sharing your technique!!!!
Amazing
Can't wait for Part 2 & Part 3! You have unbelievable airbrushing skills.
Do you use reference materials? Your eye for detail is very good.
Hi John... Wooooooah stunning skills. I'm wanting to take up Airbrushing but having problems waiting for my Airbrush & Compressor to be in stock! So I'm trying to watch as many video's possible. I want to concentrate on using black surfaces with White Ink! What would be the best White Acrylic Ink that I could practice with, nothing expensive but enough to give me the experience needed! I'm hoping to use Black Mounting Board would that be wise? Would Black Drawing Ink be OK to practice on White Mounting Board? You have a NEW SUBSCRIBER 👍😊👍
excellent, well done... cant wait to see your next project. Question, is the product you used in the vinyl cutter called "frisked mask" and where did you get it?
Thanks Craig. I bought it from our local supplier in Australia - Airbrush Megastore and yes it is called frisket mask but I can't remember the brand sorry...might check when I get home.
Great work. Been a big fan of yours since I saw The Watcher. Keep it coming
Thanks Cornel👍
Good art os just so time consuming and showing people what is involved takes even longer. Great explanation of what you are doing.
Thankyou Andre
Cool thx ! Fire paint !
Haven’t you finished that yet butty? 🤣 come on, get a grip.🤣👍
Haha...the editing takes far longer than the painting lol...but yes painting was finished a few months ago now.
Great video John!
Thanks Steve..great honour to have such a compliment from you.
go new video
Realy no video? go go please video
Sorry, yes just got a little busy with another project.....I just uploaded Part 11.
