@deanatruppa5452 I think filmmakers are not taking the time to make sure stuff makes sense anymore before releasing stuff!!! If they did, stuff would be so much more enjoyable. I LOVE Evil. However, I have not been able to sit down and watch the final season yet. I need to do so soon!!

Chile I just rewatched this yesterday and haven't watched this since it first aired and I was about 11... We never got to see mattie parents or her dusty baby daddy or whatever happened to her dusty son.. mattie was way to judgemental.
😅🤣😂 #dusty I honestly did used to wonder whatever happened to Basil. She finally spoke his name at the end of the movie, but they maybe could've had her read a newspaper and find a article about him being arrested or something. I wonder if they mention him again in the novel 🤔

Im guessing she moved there with ceil cause don't know where Brewster place is... Also in the book ceil first husband was cheating on her with a man so the friend he kept going to visit about jobs in the movie was actually his boyfriend.

An old church lady shot the oldest Bertran brother & there was no revenge on her. Someone shot the youngest brother and the Bertran family didn't seem to care about the killer of that brother. But they want to hurt Ava for killing Dallas?!?!?!

My son just saw this last night. He said it was good, but there were some people that were one dimensional. He did not like Glen Powells character and felt he wasn't good enough to show the character arc. Also you needs that fan that Mariah Carey used to have lol. Her hair was always blowing in videos.
@@Joewilliams563 Whats up!!! Glen Powell was only there for his looks and to be part of a love triangle with the lead. Other than that, his character was annoying. And yes, this fan sucked. But I didn't want it on the high setting because then it would've been super loud, lol!

I totally forgot Megan and Debbie were in Eve's Bayou together! There are so many worthless plotlines in this movie!!!! Chiiiile I missed that whole letter part! I think I disassociated during that part because I had no idea where that letter came from 😂 OMG!! We said the exact same thing about that stupid VHS tape!!!!

@michaelquinones8663 I actually did know that. It's crazy when you watch a movie for years and then you learn who the movie was really meant to star. If I'm not mistaken, Sly's part in this movie morphed into the Cobra movie that he did instead.

I bought it a while back, same edition you have, i thought as I was watching it that “its not too bad, lemme get some dinner then watch the second half” BOY WAS i wrong! Food got stuck in my throat. Stopped eating and had a pit in my stomach for a day . Rough watch but glad I saw it, own it. Being a fan of disturbing films. I have a mini collection going.
Hahaha, yes it does give you that idea that it isn't going to be all that bad, until all the bad starting happening, LOL. I did manage to watch most of the other films that were on that top 10 list I had seen that included this movie. I do have to say that I do have a curiosity for disturbing movies too. You have to give them a try at least once!

It's for sure not a movie that you would want to have a movie night with friends, LOL. However, I think it is a movie that is definitely one to watch if you want to have conversations it's place and purpose in cinema. But if you are squeamish, then you will not make it through all the sex, abuse, and poop!!! 🤮

There was an opening scene in the movie of young Chocolate Chips in the script, but it cut for Indy film budgetary reasons.
