For the fourth episode of Hazy Not Crazy we took a trip across the Atlantic and had an excellent chat with comedian Jake Lambert. Full of life and laughter, Jake was a treat and breathe of fresh air. Wasting no time, we went right for “slap heard round the world” question (Will Smith) and opened a dialogue about comedy and epilepsy. One of the points hammered out was how Jake takes his unique e...

@@hazynotcrazy Thank you brother 👍
Wow I said Like a whole lot of times 😂😭
“When I first started out in comedy, I wouldn’t have had the skills and tools to talk about my epilepsy in the way that I do now. I couldn’t have made it funny,” says Jake. “But now, it is almost a way of saying to my epilepsy that I am in control, it hasn’t got me. It’s probably a very British way of dealing with it. My family is the same. My sister and nephew both have epilepsy but we all get on with our lives.” Сan you show the epilepsy safety guidelines doctor gives patient? About falling, drowning, SUDEP in epilepsy seizures. Do you have your graphic one-page version of all Epilepsy Safety? #seizureSafety #epilepsySafety #StaySafeSide Every year in Russia about 1000 epileptics drown in a bath, pool, water basin, when fishing and die when falling or during sleep. it is necessary to legalize safety measures with epilepsy.
I am convinced the person who named Leicester also named Worcestershire sauce. We need an hour long podcast with Jake on how to pronounce stuff for us stupid Americans 😂
Feeling guilty and apologizing after a seizure is too relatable. One of my grand mals in college I had during a college event and a friend of mine ran to her room and grabbed her pillow for my head and I threw up on it. That was 5 years ago and I still apologize and ask her if I can buy her a new pillow 😅
hahahah has she accepted the new pillow offer? Glad to hear this interview was relatable and thank you so much for sharing the pillow incident lol
@@hazynotcrazy She still won’t take the new pillow 🤣
This is great!!
Thank You Lori! We’re excited to bring this to life and look forward to many more conversations. Feel free to drop any feedback or suggestions on our website at www.hazynotcrazy.com
⚡️⚡️⚡️ Saber helped me with the start my journey of Epilepsy. Grateful for that guy.
