The Greatest Thing I Ever Witnessed - NYE 2015
Good to see you and thanks for sharing your ideas. It’s been quite sometime since last I saw you. 🌸🌸🌸
We graduated high school in the same year. And we had the same 1d problem in 2020 (it has stopped since, don't listen to what my Spotify has to say about it)
How much yarn did you use?
Seriously disappointed this is just an intro and no tutorial an no link either😢
Really enjoyed this content 👌 😊
Awessome presentation.
Lol. When i first clicked on this video, i actually didnt realise you are NOT Evelyn Wood, of the YT sewing world, until you started talking. I was thinking she had put out a knitting video, lol.
Cute you😎
So bc I’ve been making one and knitting from the front, that’s why my mittens have holes like lace?! Thanks!
You make this so much easier than other folks. Just bumped into your videos and love them. Ty
Always willing to learn and you are so sweet
Ok i tried it 😊i think it turned out nice i combined pink hygee yarn and red hart pink variegated yarn 🧶 its fuzzy and cute. I just had hard time with hygee because it was two strands at a time. I enjoyed this thank you very much. Merry Christmas 🎄
I LOVE your adorable personality!!! Im not on instagram, and I was wondering if you had that beret pattern (with a light weight recommendation, and that beautiful cable headband pattern - thank you very much
Is there a way of upsizing beret. I have a larger head (59cm). Adding more stitches at cast on rib? How many?
when you said about the last very colorful sweater that sometimes you want to where it out but you don't want to deal with people I laughed so hard I almost wet my sweatpants. You might branch out from knitting to comedy. So funny and love the creative cool clothes.
When I k2 inc I only come up with 98 stitches. What am I doing wrong?
Pom Pom 😊
I know you are young and super busy, but I would buy all of your patterns. You are an absolute delight!
What weight of yarn did you use?
I used medium weight yarn and size 8 needles.
I just finished the Harry Styles cardigan. I made it for my daughter and made it smaller than the original pattern.
I just subscribed. I really enjoy your videos. The cinch did look really satisfying. Thanks for showing how to make a hat.
I made it and love it❤❤❤❤
Yay! That’s awesome!!!
I love it!❤🙏🏽
thumbs up for the booty joke
For my reference (lmk if i made any errors!) 1) Cast on 72 stitches 2) Knit One, Purl One until piece is 2 inches long (rib look) 3) Knit one round 4) Knit 2, make one for one round. 72 stitches --> 108 stitches 5) Knit one round 6) K 18, make one for one round. 108 --> 114 stitches 7) Knit one round 8) K 19, make one for one round. 114 --> 120 stitches 9) Knit 2 rounds 10) Knit 13, knit 2 together for one round. 120 ---> 114 (112?) stitches 11) Knit 2 rounds 12) Knit 12, knit 2 together for one round. 13) Knit 2 rounds 14) Knit 11, knit 2 together 15) Knit 2 rounds 16) Knit 10, knit 2 together 17) Knit 2 rounds 18) Knit 9, knit 2 together. 19) Repeat above steps until 16 stitches remaining 20) Take working yarn, feed through loops. Pull tight, secure with a knot on the inside. 21) Weave in ends.
From step 13 on it’s just one round of knitting , not two. This until the end.
cast on 72 with a size 7? it came out small
I tried the pattern, the author of this comment is right, point 10) should read 112 st. (8 sets of 12+2) not 114. Thanks @nm541 for the written pattern Thank you Kerry for sharing on RUclips. For those who find the cast on stitches produce too small a hat, please check your gauge. It may seem small but when fitted, it provides some tightness for hat to stay. Besides when hat is worn over time, it will get looser. Just my personal experience with this pattern. Happy knitting everyone!
How much yarn did you use?
So cute💖
Do you knit knit rows to a certain width before you start to decrease?
My first project was a triangle shawl.
How many inches was the hat from the cast on edge to where you started the decreases. I need these little details. Thank you
5 or 6 inches. I was making a hat for a baby. If you're making one for an adult, go for about 8 inches.
I've made two of these now! My second one I used a twisted rib instead just because my normal 1x1 rib felt a bit too wonky for my personal liking, but it's such a nice hat regardless. I collect berets, like a lot of them but sometimes there aren't any in the colours that I want, so I can now knit my own!
size 7 us or mm?
US size
I watched you knit the red pinwheel beret and dont understand the weaving in at the very end. Would you be able to show that in more detail please?
Hi! So I started knitting this week thanks to your video and later I learned purling. I’m sure that I’m doing it right but still it feels like to me whether I knit or purl, I still get the same result. It always looks like purl. The end piece never looks like a V- shape (knit stitch). I hope you can help. Thank you!
Is there a way to make it bigger? I finished mine but I feel like it's kind of small for my head because the wool I used isn't as chunky
I would add 8 stitches at the beginning and adjust accordingly.
@@KerryDoesThings Ah, okay thanks!!
@@KerryDoesThings Yes!! This worked so well and I'm super excited how it turned out thank you so much!
Medium weight yarn, 300 - 425 yards Size 7 cable needles and set double pointed needles 1. Continue decreasing switch to double pointed needles when cable needles becomes to long to use. Decrease between PM until end up with 2 stitches between each marker. Run yarn through final stitches, pull and finish off tail yarn on inside.
Nice pattern Im going to make it in wool next time.
I’d like to make it from bulky yarn. Size 6 with size 11 & 15 needles. How can I convert this pattern to using those materials?
Love it 🎉
Do you have any free patterns
I linked every pattern I talked about in the description bellow. Every pattern linked is free
This is my pallet cleanser project, I’ve been crocheting lots recently and planning to knit some jumpers over Christmas but this is going to be wonderful to use up some fingering weight and mohair yarns. New Sub here, love your videos, happy Christmas 🎄
30 is great but 40 is AMAZING! Enjoyed knitting and sipping coffee with you this morning. Your message is SPOT ON!
Thank you! I love to hear this!!!
do you have any written instructions by chance?
I got the whole thing but apart from why there was 4 knitting needles at the end? Could you explain that for me please 🙏🏼 I’m trying this for the first time ❤
I find the double pointed needles easier to work with when knitting in the round with very few stitches. It’s a personal preference and you can absolutely use round needles instead.
Great video ✌️❤️😊🧶🧶
Does anyone have the model written down? English is not my language so it's complicated to understand it orally...
I have been looking for a good beret pattern that was simple (beginner) and even the beginner ones I found just were too difficult
This was the most "trust the process" project ive ever made
I used 5mm Dpns and worsted weight yarn and it turned out perfectly
I’m glad you stuck through the journey! Enjoy your new hat!!!
What size yarn? I use 6 and mine is huge. 😭
I used medium weight yarn.
I like it
Will 16 inch circular needles be long enough?
