100 Fold Studio is designing 25 dorm suites for volunteers serving Homes of Hope in Ensenada, Mexico. Homes of Hope is a ministry of YWAM San Diego/Baja providing housing for families in need. For every dorm suite designed by 100 Fold Studio, volunteers are able to build 40 homes per year for families like the Ochoa Family featured in the video. I wish I had a chance to intern here
Can you apply even if you're ''SO NOT religious''? but you're tired of the show off designs that you have to do at school when people elsewhere don't have roofs? but...just for a few months? [I'm from France and I'm doing a year = pause.... but I'm supposed to come back next year and finish my master degree] I think it would be an occasion to learn more about the 'social'' part of architecture... :)
