We just purchased a home in Kings Point. The amenities are astounding, and the club houses are newly renovated and very beautiful. We think we made a great decision buying here as we love the home and the HOA community we purchased in. Only time will tell if Kings Point is right for us, but as of now, we are extremely excited. We were only able to make this decision because of the expertise of our real estate agent Michaelene Tracey. This video is great, but if you are considering King Points, you will learn so much more going on one of her tours, as she seems to know what you're thinking even before you ask a question. Michaelene points out the good and bad of every situation. We never got the feeling like she just needed to sell a home, but truly wanted us to be happy. She organized all the documents that needed to be reviewed and signed and held our hands through the whole process. Bottom line is she is awesome! She just doesn't sell in Kings Point, but the entire surrounding area and is an expert in 55+ communities. If you are looking for an agent, we highly recommend Michaelene Tracey. Lastly, some people think the HOA in Kings Point is high (which on the surface is true), but if you break down all the costs, Its not much more or might even be less then owning a single home in Florida. We are paying $708/month and it covers everything except electricity. It covers the roof, exterior insurance, exterior paint, all landscaping, Internet/Cable water, sewer, exterminator and more. Back in NJ, we were paying $245 for cable/Internet alone. Maybe its not for everyone, but I think we made a great decision for us. Thanks Michaelene. I just found out that all the larger homesites have been sold in del Sol, which was a bummer. Do they have any future sites in the works around the Tampa area or is it just pretty much the resale market?
