Notice that the train then had ICF coaches. Today this train runs with a LHB rake. This video was shot in 2005. The person standing in front of the camera is Dilip Setlur. Vivek Pillay was also there but is not seen in the video. This video was shot from the KJM diesel shed platform.

I was sitting in the last coach (SLR cum Guard van) and we could feel the entire coach vibrating under the power of the bankers running in the 8th notch. An experience not to be missed.

This rake consists of 6 coaches and is attached to the Goa Express at Londa. The loco which goes from Hubli (Pune WDG-3A Shakti) is attached to the Goa Express and the loco which brings the Goa Express from Vasco takes the Goa express rake coming from Nizamudin to Vasco while the loco which comes from the Pune side takes the NZM- Hubli link express to Hubli and returns the same evening with the...

This machine packs the ballast under the sleepers and improves the stability of the tracks. Due to increase in passenger and goods traffic these days, these machines are not being given the required time for track maintenance (section blocks) and thus is resulting in increse

CBC allows automatic coupling between the loco and the rake unlike the screw coupling. All the pointsman has to do in this case is connect the brake pipes.

This loco, seen in the video was MU'ed with another WDG-4 and was runnign light to Amargol station, from where it was attached to a HPT ER BOXN rake. This was the first WDG-4 footplatting for me( 2006).
