stuck in my head fr
Это уже мировая классика. Это должны исполнять симфонические оркестры!! Просто, слов нет, пробирает!
The first time I heard 11:11 kick in, I was in was in fuckin' disbelief. I literally started headbanging, in-game.
15:56
15:56 elemental fury sucks and having to listen to this while playing it makes me want to blow my brains out
Duke Nukem con otras 3 mujeres contra zombies, falta hacerle un mapa
Duke Nukem Zero Hour
No comparison to NIN, but it's still a Banger.
4:00
Banger
I hate the change in style from the original Quake ost. Ruins the entire Quake's atmosphere. I play the expansions with the music off. And the very irregular and mediocre map design feels like a mod. Enemies act strange full of bugs! It's sad that they never been able to repeat something as good as Quake 1.
I completely disagree you. This gives a different touch to Quake as a whole, and that's cool. I have enough Quake for four episodes, I want something different.
The expansions are certainly different from the main game. When I first booted up Scourge of Armagon I was almost shocked with what I was hearing. And even after finishing it, Dissolution of Eternity, Dimension of the past and Dimension of the Machine, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that the atmosphere of the base game wasn't quite met with the first two expansions. But then I played Quake II. Christ. Awesome game, mediocre and generic atmosphere at best. So much so that I went and replayed Scourge of Armagon. And then I realized: It had a differently similar atmosphere. It had a different take on the dark fantasy that I so much adored in the base game. You could say that you only appreciate what you have when you lose it. And Quake II certainly did just that with Quake's expansions.

Most underrated videogame ost by far
After playing quake 2 RTX came back to replay again quake on the enhanced edition. Found out there were expansions I've never know about and also a new mission pack. Those bangers suit so fine in quake 1, In my opinion metal tracks was something that was missing from the base game in comparision to quake 2. Quake 2 have a really hard metal OST that suits so well but damn It fits even better to the speed and complexity of quake 1 gameplay
Track 03 has some parts inspired by "Feed the Gods" by White Zombie, or at least it sounds like it
Fuck Fortnite, Quake and Doom fucking rule
God Impulse 9 No clip = do whatever I want...😃
I'm actually really disappointed by how there's almost no Lovecraftian influence with the Quake mission packs, SoA or DoE, they both feel like the odd man out of Quake
I'm not a fan of most of the tracks from either expansion. The ost from the main game I put to max volume, but lower it when I get to these. I think most songs from them are just too generic sounding, and get ear-grating FAST.
I found track 3, immediately had to poop. It's 9 minutes before my shift
7:20
The music was the best part of this expansion.
Track 4 goes so fucking hard godamn
7:48 this part is fucking awesome
Hey man do you think you could do a stealth run with the solid snake skin mod?
Number 7 is also the soundtrack of level 32 of the game Brutal Doom: Hell on Earth.
Found out about this via the switch reissue. I'm also 40 and was a kid for the original Q1, and somehow never heard of the official expansions! ID's two famous properties have insanely cool music!
Track 04 9:27 gave me some Head Like a Hole vibes. Came here to check it out. This is my first time playing the Expansions and I'm really impressed with Scourge. The level design loses some "abstraction", that kind of pure logical intuition that id Software printed in Doom and Quake I, but Scourge is very imaginative and the flow is good and almost every combat arena is fun and/or excilarating. And what a bang of an OST! I'm so f* glad I didn't miss this levels and themes this time! Never to late!
Generic garbage like their stuff for Quake II
I was just playing new Quake enhanced edition update and I got this mission pack i missed as kid. It`s amazing soundtrack!
No shit man, we only had pirated copies of quake and non of them had music at all. Music is amazing
@@Hikikomori34 I had music on Copies. I remember pirates hehe but I remember they were hard to get and they were expensive. My father bought me Q2 Ground zero for 25€
This album is great to listen to while playing Terraria.
Finished Both Quake 1 and it's Mission Packs on Hard Difficulty. Good game.
Good old track found
The next doom game should just be doomguy being sent to the world of quake 1
Good old days... Старые добрые деньки...
I play this on Mark V and the music doesn't plays :(
I didn’t even know the expansions had their own soundtrack
The second track is just perfect. Great childhood memories.
Great ost, track 8 my fav.
I'm the 69th person to like this
ngl track 7 sounds like something out of red alert
YES Actually more akin to the Expansion packs/The Aftermath
It was the sound track of map 32 of Brutal Doom: Hell on Earth.
How do you know what level goes to what song?
The laser rifle in this game fucking RIPS
The track at 12:39 has some string sections which remind me slightly of the opening theme to Reanimator (which closely imitates the "Psycho theme", as people refer to it as).
Also the following theme, actually.
I dig the castanets in that one.
I never checked out the Q1 expansions until today, and I had no idea the soundtracks were such bangers.
They're just as good as Reznor's work, and more fitting. This one in particular.
One of the best games I have ever played! It is my statistics with good PC in 2019
Top Quality OST
me sad that dis gaym no have moosik 4 me but me think dat dis gaym is gud enuf & duz naht need a sowndtrack
better than the original
Смотрю ютуб, наткнулся на это видео, врубаю и... и... аж слёзы потекли, полна настольгии😫😫😫
It's funny that this soundtrack was tagged on my mp3 files as being composed by Trent Reznor. It was weird, because it definitely has the Jeehun Hwang approach as you mentioned already. Seemed like Trent copycated Jeehun's style lol. Now it all makes sense.
