I remember subtly mentioning Tom a few times in the background and such… and nobody mentioning it 🤣🤣 I mean in the end this takes place in 1917 and not in the 1940s, so it’s understandable that people didn’t make the connection.

Hii!! Yes, Christian Coulson’s voice is Tom 😉❤️ as for why Eclipse lied about Tom , I tried to imagine it in her perspective. She had two choices: tell the truth and say it was Tom, a 16 year old classmate who killed Marvolo (her groomer and kidnapper) for insulting Tom and abandoning him, therefore ruining his chances at a normal life (which, obviously, knowing what happens in the future is the right choice) or accuse Morfin of the crime considering he’s already going to Azkaban for his part and his shit ton of crimes prior (but this way ensuring he’d never get out). In a way, she pulled an Ophelia and covered for her classmate’s uncle’s/grandfather’s murder. Just like they did with Sebastian.

@@geekyaudios That shows once again that he was so good as young Tom Riddle, I wished he would've featured again on the sixth movie, but maybe he already looked a bit too old for the part. But him on the second movie is one of the highlights for me 😍 And yeah I understand that point, but at the same time, Seb's thing was a heat of the moment after an attack from his uncle because of a sensitive, personal topic in which they never saw eye-to-eye, growing tension until they both exploded. Despite he also indulged in the black arts, at least I did not see him (in HL1) remotely close to Tom's perfect psychomat profile. The thing is that Eclipse not only knows that Tom killed Marvolo in cold blood, but also a student, in a predetermined way following his hate for muggle-borns, that for that he has a monster around the school, and that he is creating horocruxes (for which he needs to kill). Instead she was more like "leave my loved ones alone" and "I would recommend stop creating more horocruxes because it's not worth it", like girl what about other people and you really think he would just take your "recommendation"? 😅 But again, Voldemort had to happen, and it is also good to create a character that can be despised; it is actually interesting, because the "perfect" and favourite daughter shows in the end a more despicable, bad nature, keeping secrets and lies, while the other two siblings, which seem to be trouble and people despise for that, are more "inocent" in the sense that they are just pulling pranks and really cared about their family and risked their lives when the moment came.

@@Albita-mg-1 totally agree, he would’ve been great in the rest of the movies. Though I’d say Eclipse is genuinely sweet and doesn’t like the dark arts, but she does has a darker side that awakened when she met Marvolo and went through everything. And I also love writing flawed characters like her who make mistakes but are not actually evil (or at least don’t want to be). :D I have plans on writing a future fanfic where it shows the consequences of meeting Marvolo and keeping the secret of Marvolo’s true killer, because she might seem slick about it when talking to Tom but she’s actually dying on the inside. I’m currently taking a month long break from writing but definitely expect that in the future ❤️

Thank you so much for this masterpiece! It successfully bridges the occurrences of Hogwarts Legacy to the "Classic" Harry Potter Books The game gave us the magic, the timeframe and Hogwarts, but very little on our beloved Charakters Ominis and Sebastian, just a small backstory and no insight into their future Nothing on MC... YOU gave us a believable outcome for them, a life of their own It's wonderful to see that the events of Hogwarts legacy didn't break them, but made them better people, and remarkable, relieable parents as well! Thank you again - it's wonderful to listen to this story
