Worlds Elsewhere Theatre Company was established to help preserve and innovate the institution of theatre by establishing a company of artists: performers, directors, writers, artisans, technical crew and others involved in the creative process who will continue to create through the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
We believe in the power of theatre to bring strength and comfort in times of distress, and to act as a force for social progress. We support the values of social justice, diversity, inclusion and charity. While our founders and majority of our repertory company are U.S based, our support for universal human rights and dignity knows no borders.

I can picture a sequel, where the prince and Snow White have a child of their own and Snow teaching them the way of the vampire. However the prince wouldn’t get to see their child grow up as he would suffer the same fate as his father-in-law years before.

Did you guys use AI generated arts as backgrounds?
Addie GS (Stream director and player of Alice) here! Yes, I used Adobe Firefly, a paid generative AI tool that uses Adobe's own image library with proper licensing from their artists. I had to make heavy edits and composite multiple outputs together to get the overall scenes Sam envisioned, but that is primarily where the backgrounds comes from. I believe the provenance of art used in training data is of the highest importance, and avoid most AI gen tools on the basis that I don't know where the art sources come from. Firefly can be quite limited compared to, say, Midjourney, especially when asking for niche things, but I can't in good conscience use Midjourney with so many open questions about its data sources. Thanks for the question!

This is one of my favorite Neil Gaiman short stories. The illustrated graphic novel adapted by Colleen Doran is one of the loveliest creations I've ever seen. It more than does justice to Mr. Gaiman's prose. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
