We are at Lime Rock Park in the Formula Ford 1600. What looked like a great starting position before the race turned out to be anything but great. Not discouraged we fought back and had a strong finish. I hope you enjoy the video!

( UPDATE LG has released a new firmware update for the 27GR95UM. This is a quick reference to the release firmware if anyone wants to compare to the new firmware.) This is a local dimming comparison between the innoCN 27M2V and the LG 27GR95UM. I apologize for the video noise in some of the dark scenes. My GoPro ISO was set too high for lowlight. Although an annoyance the recording still demons...

Hey, thanks for this! Would love to get your opinion a couple things. What's your impression of the matte finish on the 27M2V for gaming purposes? And, what do you think of the monitor for normal SDR office use? Cheers!
@JeremyPass the matte finish has not bothered me when gaming or in any scenario. I think it is not any less quality than prior bug brand momitors I've had before. It comes with quite a bit of adjustability, so you are likely to find settings that work you in SDR office use. I keep Windows at 100% scale and enjoy the extra workspace. You do need 20/20 eyesight for that or it can be straining on the eyes. I hope this helps answer your questions!

Unfortunately, I can't. I sent the LG back at the end of my return window just before the firmware update was released.
@@OGDrewMeisterso this video isn’t really a true apples to apples comparison. Such a shame - would have loved to see it compared against the latest LG firmware which did improve the local dimming. Thanks for the video nonetheless!
@bren.r it is not. I added a note to the description when LG had released the first update that I'll keep this up so anyone could compare new firmware updates to the old if they wish to.

Any bloom using dark mode at night on the INNOCN 27M2V? I have the Sony INZONE M9 at home but Im thinking of getting the INNOCN 27M2V.
I notice some bloom in the bottom corners, but that seems to be there most of the time because of my viewing angle. The thing I've noticed the easiest and all the time specific to dark mode is a dark haloing effect around highlights only on grey backgrounds. Which I do not mind compared to the bloom that would occur if they didn't do that.
That's really an in depth comparsion video. Nice work! Have you tried using the monitor with latest firmware? Does that helps with these backlight blooming/delays? I am planning to buy this today before the free accessories offer ends and would love if you can provide a quick comments on latest patch.
Thank you! I ended up returning the LG before the firmware update went live. My return window was closing a couple days before and I had not seen anything about an update coming at all. I wish I could be more helpful.
