Our mission is to aid, and to endeavor to assist in the saving of life in Flathead County, Montana, or elsewhere as an emergency arises.
Line Gun - Shotgun
at NVSAR, we use a shotgun loaded with blanks to shoot a projectile connected to a rope across ravines, rivers, and other objects that we need to span with ropes. Watch for a refresher on where these items are located, basic steps, and cautions.

Doesn't anyone realize how incredibly dangerous that rescue was for the repel rescuer. As a former crew chief, WOW!
I like the simplicity of this using items most agencies have around in their gear bag with hauling in extra heavy duty pre-made straps that have limited use.

Manachit - the full body harness is a Edelweiss Hercules, and can be found multiple places online. There were multiple pulleys shown. If you let us know which you were looking at, we can tell you which it is.
