Yes you can, you can extend the tentacles also (I did a follow up video on this) so can definitely wrap right around Spidey if you wanted

Hope you get your one soon mate. Honestly I’ve had most 6 inch scale doc ocks and this guy takes the cake mostly because of the tentacles, so much options and possibilities!

I think the price point is fair to be honest, I paid $135 NZD for this guy from an Aussie retailer “Sugo Toys” which is typical for most mezco and now most 1/12 figures to be honest… in comparison we were charged $119 NZD for the recent Marvel Legends MCU Doc Ock figure, you definitely get a lot more value with this mezco release for an additional $16. But appreciate your point mate, prices are going crazy in all aspects of life.

Yes you can, his tentacles are very strong so can wrap around his neck and suspend him in the air. I included a shot of this in my original review

what's sad is that all mezco figures come with a bunch of wacky and cool accessories, so i thought doc ock would have had some weird science gadgets but apparently they count his arms as the accessories, which does not justify the price especially considering the arms look like complete plastic and has no metal shine to it and his outfit is just a plain unpatterned spandex, this figure is a ripp off for the price and i collect mezco

He can stand without the stand, ive included some in the review. It really depends on which tentacles you have on him. The short ones aren’t very heavy at all so he can stand easily with them. Just all about balance

@radworld thanks..but the short ones are not very tempting to me.

He's actually 5'9 in the 616 comics, he's slightly shorter than Parker being 5'10 so this is actually pretty accurate.

Surprisingly it’s held up well and no damage on mine. To be fair I keep him in a static upright pose which probably helps, but I think with the suit being so thick it’s quite durable.

@@radworld That is good to hear. Been on the fence about this piece for a while. Looks absolutely gorgeous, but the seamless body is scary. And the metal skeleton seems to be problematic, especially if articulated too much. There is a channel called ''Strange Form'', and they took apart the whole figure, which was faulty, and yeah, the material was at least quite thick. I appreciate the reply! Thank you!

@@radworld I was going to ask you about what it's like getting Mezco's in the UK--I know some shops carry them over there, but aside from that, I've no idea how it goes with shipping, etc. Glad you got The Shadow! Even with the layers of clothing, you can still get some pretty badass poses out of him. But truth be told, I'd prolly take him down to his suit coat and leave his trenchcoat off if I have his cloak on, just to get more arm movement, naturally. Plus, that radio. . .

It seems that it’s hard to find most Mezco Exclusives outside of the states, my personal experience is relying on EBay sadly unless BBTS gets the occasional exclusive figure in stock. And honestly your idea of stripping the figure down for more movement is a great idea! That would really allow him to move much more freely. Really excited to see how the Dick Tracy figure turns out soon, fingers crossed!
