In gergs original video, he didn't show how it was done. So I had to figure it out! It was much fun, it's useless because you can never go through the portal
It works because of a pufferfish proximity detector. 😅

Modify the activation wiring it's not that hard.
Just make a t-flip flop. There are literally dozens of ways to make them and it turns a pulse into a stable on/off output like a switch and you can run multiple buttons into it
